One of the things I observed last night is how tough it is to be an official at MSG making calls against the Knicks. The fans and Knick players are literally on top of the officials the whole game. Josh Hart in particular - he will two hand clamp the ball and yell right in front of the official every single time a foul is called against him. Everything seems controversial but 99% of the time its the right call.

I dunno... maybe they got it in them to continue. But just watching the guys slip and fall in the 4th and OT, forgetting the basics... it's not a good sign.

Now they are going into G2 as a must-win game, so the stakes are even higher.

Pacers also got 9 guys they can count on, while the Knicks basically have 7. So it's harder for the Knicks to feed off each other.

We need to play Wright

Wright…and the double bigs more. We need to slow this thing down by just dominating the glass / paint, and use more of the bench to keep us fresh enough to match their energy.

McConnell & Bryant aren’t meaningfully better than Payne / Wright / Shamet & Achiuwa, just need to make sure our fringe guys are out there against their bench guys.

Right but Wright specifically provides more of a pocket point who can settle things down vs. Payne who's a chucker.

30 years ago I left the room to make koolaid during a Knicks/Pacers game that I figured NY had in the bag. Last night, with 3 and change left and the Knicks up 116-102, I decided it was safe to check in on the hockey game. I think I might be the Knicks problem.

Good luck with Thibs trying to consider resting Brunson, OG AND KAT for 14 minutes.
I have friends and family predicting that one or more of the Knicks core will get injured because of heavy minutes played.

Both teams have a top 7 they rely on produce most nights and have a guy I'm sure many of their fans would prefer not to have to play (Payne for NYK, Bryant for IND). IND has Mathurin and NYK doesn't have an 8th guy like that.
