Trade 107

Cavs and Mavs Make move

CLE sends 2014 1st (TOR) #12; to
DAL for Trey Burke .. 2,438,760 .. 2,548,560 .. 2,658,240 .. 3,386,598

Cleveland uses part of the $4685227 - 2,438,760 TPE received in Hibbert trade #96 to take on salary.

Cavs confirm, with all the PGs off the board - the Cavs are delighted to get 2013s Player of the Year to work with Ricky Rubio in the PG rotation. There will be a learning curve, but the Cav's believe they are putting together a phenomenal back court with Rubio, Waiters, Burke & Lamb. Great Dealing Mavs.

Accepted happily. Having just drafted Harrison we are able to move Burke for a pick that allowed me to draft Glen Robinson III.

Trade 109 portland and Orlando have reached a deal. Was hard to deal parsons but this deal really puts me in a great position to become a better team in the future through the draft.

2014 Denver 1st 27th overall
2015 Indiana 1st unprotected
2015 Orlando unprotected 1st
2016 Philly 1st protected- 2016 first round draft pick
Philadelphia's 1st round pick to Orlando protected for selections 1-14 in 2016 (only if Philadelphia conveyed a 1st round pick to Miami in 2014), 1-11 in 2017 or 1-8 in 2018; if Philadelphia has not conveyed a 1st round pick to Orlando by 2018, then Philadelphia will instead convey its 2018 2nd round pick and 2019 2nd round pick to Orlando [Miami-Philadelphia, 6/28/2012 and then Denver-L.A. Lakers-Orlando-Philadelphia, 8/10/2012]
2017 Lakers 1st protected- If at least two years after the L.A. Lakers conveyed a 1st round pick to Phoenix, then the L.A. Lakers' 1st round pick to Orlando protected for selections 1-5 in 2017 or 1-5 in 2018 or unprotected in 2019; if the L.A. Lakers have not conveyed a 1st round pick to Phoenix by 2017, then the L.A. Lakers will instead convey their 2017 2nd round pick and 2018 2nd round pick to Orlando [L.A. Lakers-Phoenix, 7/11/2012 and then L.A. Lakers-Orlando, 8/10/2012]
2017 Orlando 1st unprotected
2017 lakers second
2016 Orlando 2nd
2017 Orlando 2nd
Victor claver 1,367,640
Andrew Nicholson $2,380,593

Total : 3,747,757

For
Chandler parsons 967,750

Total: 967,750

Portland is under the cap in 2014-15 so this deal works under the rules. Good dealing Orlando!

Trade 110

PHI sends Brandon Bass ($6,900,000) to

IND for Landry Fields ($6,250,000).

Sixers accept. Save a few hundred thousand and get a player of more positional need in Philly.

Pacers accept.
Bass has proven he can play with Dwight. Fields had no use on this team. This deal will be update upon completion of the finals. Good dealing Trent!

# 111

Indiana Pacers and Boston Celtics

Pacers out / Celtics in:
Brandon Bass - 6,900,000

Celtics out / Pacers in:
Louis Scola - 4,868,499

Total: 4,868,499 x 1.50 = 7,302,749

Salaries work as Boston is way under the luxury tax.

Why?
Scola's a better fit then Bass. Goo dealing babyjax!

Glad to finally get something done. Just like Scola is a better fit in Indiana, I think that Bass is a better fit in Boston. He still spreads the floor for Bynum, but is a better defender and younger than Scola. Good dealing!

Indiana Pacers and Minnesota Timberwolves:

Pacers out / Twolves in:

Courtney Lee - 5,225,000
Omri Casspi - 1,063,384
Total - 6,288,384 x 1.25 = 7,860,480 > incoming

Minnesota out / Indiana in:

Kevin Martin - 6,792,500

Kevin Martin is literally the perfect fit at SG for out squad. He's only 29, so he fits with our core age as well. He will have fun running around out tree getting wide open shots. Good dealing Cob!

Trade #113

Utah Send: 2016 2nd

Utah is under the cap by 30 million so the deal works.

Perfect environment for Lin to thrive in. Nice dealing.

Trade #114 (Above should be #113):

Finally got another deal with Denver after long negotiations.

Denver Sends:

Ty Lawson $11,595,506
Danny Green $4,025,000
JJ Hickson $5,381,750
Total: $21,002,256

Atlanta Sends:

Tony Parker $12,000,000
Wesley Matthews $7,245,640
Total: $19,245,640

Wanted to shake the team up and we were working on this deal since the playoffs. At this point we are no longer contenders and think Parker is better off in the situation in Denver being 32. We get younger, and get some good role players in Hickson and Green. Good dealings buddy.

Denver accepts. Tony Parker is easily still a top 10 player in this league. This trade makes us a legit contender in the west. Good dealin
