The first thing I did when I heard was to check how horrifying the Hibbert/Hawes deals were. AND THEY AREN'T. AT ALL. Heck, I would be happy if Hawes opted in next year.

Atta boy Hambone!

So happy about dumping this salary.

Your entertainment value just went way up thanks to Hawes. Entertaining in both good and bad ways. He'll make 2-3 passes a game that leave you in Hawe of his talent, and another 2-3 plays that are just Hawful.

He is truly Dr Jekyll and Mr Hawes.

The Hawes puns are never-ending.

Plus, he's a great dude in the lockerroom.

As for Hibbert, yeah, he's toast, but expiring, so yay for that.

As bad as Hibbert has been I also wouldn't be shocked to see him come in and start for us. The bar is very low.

Now let's get rid of Hibbert and Hawes and bring back LARRY SANDERS!

We remember him from the play that sparked our tank season

I'm not a huge Hawes fan, but I'd start him to space the floor with our first unit. Monroe comes off the bench for offense. Henson for defense only when playing really good centers to absorb fouls.

Wrong. Liberal tolerance only extends to people who act and think exactly as they do. Don't forget principal #6 of the radical progressive left: Think how we think, act how we act, say what we say and vote how we vote; if you do, all will be right and we will attend rally's together. However, if you dare to go against us in word or deed, we will DESTROY you. If you question Obama, we will call you a racist. If you believe that marriage should be between man and woman and need not be redefined, we will label you a homophobe. If you believe in borders and rule of law and do not think that we should flood this nation with millions of illegal aliens, we will call you a xenophobe. If you believe that all life is precious, in the womb and out of it and you think that abortion right up until the point of birth is immoral, we will call you an anti-woman misogynist. But again, if you do, say, and think like us, then we can work together to create a socialist utopia on earth.

Folks, don't be fooled. The radical progressive left are hate filled and dangerous. If they had their way they would reprogram, or do away entirely with those that got in the way of their agenda.

Can't we just rejoice that Plumlee's contract is gone? If not, there are plenty of Fox News boards you could hit up.

That sounds like the way it's going down again, except for the Hammond part. I really doubt Hammond wants to invest significant money on Snell as a backup to Middleton, but Kidd and the covetous Lasry will probably demand it, and Hammond is not a skilled negotiator so we'll get bent over at the table again (obviously should at least let Snell sign an offer sheet first). We should just let Snell go and backup the position in the strong guard/swingman draft and with Brogdon. Hammond is from a scouting and assistant coach background, so a draft and develop guy. He always expresses this is his preferred strategy. So I think this is the way he prefer to handle the situation. Then a negotiation isn't even necessary.

Thon is more of a power forward than center, plus still raw. Hibbert is flat out better than Henson. Both are poor rebounders, but at least Hibbert can block out. He's vastly superior defensively. And he can shoot a mid-range. Hibbert has been less of a net negative on the court this season than Henson, and for his career he's actually been a net positive, whereas that's not once been the case with Henson. What exactly does Henson do better than him? It should go Hibbert in the Bogut-type role, Monroe playing more minutes and down the stretch, Thon getting spot minutes at both center and power forward, and Hawes stuck on the bench.

I've seen Roy play in about 4-5 games this year, he is beyond awful, won't get another deal in the NBA

Greg Monroe runs faster in his contract year as well.

But yeah, Hibbert is bad. The bar is low though as noted above.

I want to be happy but I'm still not convinced we haven't sent something valuable out. Is this absolutely 100% done as is?

I'm not an advocate for him but swapping Henson for Rondo would be another way we could cap serious cap.

That's cool, he can take Plumlees spot as seat warmer. I hope Thon gets started level minutes along with whoever remains from our scrub Centers. It'll be awesome if they double downed on the miracle and package these expiring guys for something useful

run, Roy would be better off falling down, just like a tree being chopped, would get there much quicker.
