Worked overnight then drove in at 8, was too tired to enjoy it as much as I would have liked, but wasn't going to miss it. Luckily have an aunt that works in city so was able to use her parking pass.

Does this increase the likelihood of Foles getting traded to Minnesota? I'd have to consider it if they offered their first rounder for him. Also, who out there would be a good replacement for Reich?

I read that they might promote within. WR coach Groh to QB coach and Deuce to OC. I like it and they already know our offense.

I personally wouldn’t trade Foles but that’s me. Imagine the fan backlash lol. He’s a legend here now.

Foles to minny for a one? Crazy if they give us two firsts for qbs over the course of two years...if Foles wanted to be moved, I would consider moving him as a favor for him.

I would definitely be shopping Foles for a 1 plus. Denver should pay that, they have a defense that’s plenty good enough to be win now, and are desperate for a QB. Their pick is high enough (5 I think?) I’d do Foles and 32. Get up to get Saquon Barkley. He’d be Tomlinson in the Eagles offense. An otherworldly beast.

I doubt that would be enough to move up to 5. Outside of trading Wentz which obviously isn't going to happen, we'd have to sell the farm for the next 3-4 years. Perhaps we could trade Foles for another late first and then move up into the late teens/early 20s but I'd prefer that we stay pat and address the positions we are likely to lose depth in via free agency.

I get the sentimental reasons for not wanting to trade Foles, as he'll always be a legend here even if he never plays another snap here or anywhere else for that matter, but at the end of the day, the NFL is still a business and Roseman and the front office have to do what they think is best for the organization moving forward. We all know that Foles is going to command starter's money given his performance in the playoffs, and that Wentz is still our starter for the future, thus Foles won't be here after next season. Personally I would consider extending his deal this offseason to increase his value and then moving him.

Well, if it’s not enough to move up to 5; then maybe a 2 from DEN this year and a 1 next year? Foles’ value has to be equivalent a to higher 1st right now. Locked in another year on a cheap deal, Super Bowl winner.

Either way, they should flip him and then sign another solid vet to back up Wentz.

I should have said it better, not just sentimental reasons only. We won’t know if Wentz will be fully recover and ready for the season start. I wouldn’t want to rush him back, let him take his time to be 100% first. We all would like to defend our title and the schedule is a lot harder next year. I think we have another year with the majority of this team intact before we start losing key members.

I think that we currently have the luxury of keeping Foles for the year unless someone gives us at least a first round pick.

I agree that 32 plus Foles wouldn’t be enough to get up to 5, but would 15 straight up for him be possible if the Cardinals are interested?

I think that I would need more than the 30th pick from the Vikings.

The smart business move is to flip Foles right now, before the draft, while his value is the highest. Keeping him just to start 4 games next season and then letting himself walk via Free agency doesn't make any sense. They're not going to "franchise" him, so they may as well move him if they can get a 1st, or a couple 2nds.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

I saw someone suggest a trade to Arizona for their 1st and 2nd, we give our 1st and foles.
I think that's very fair.

I agree. He's our (only ever) Super Bowl winning QB, so if he wants to stay in Philly, the Eagles FO has to satisfy him...but the wise move should be to trade him before the draft.

However he's value is closer to a second round pick than a first round pick imho.

True, we all want to defend our title, but at the same time, we have to look beyond next season. Unlike a lot of other teams, we currently have the luxury of having our franchise QB on a rookie contract. Given the mega deal that Wentz is likely going to get in a couple of years, it's going to take up a significant portion of our cap space which will make hitting on our draft picks all the more important. I say trade Foles while his value is at its all-time high and try to draft players who can step in and fill positions of need right now. As it stands right now, we have no second, third, or fourth round picks in the 2018 draft so we need all the draft picks we can get.

If he would only bring back a 2nd round pick then I definitely hold on to him.

Someone gave a 1st for Sam Bradford. And KC gave the 49ers a high 2nd round pick and an additional pick for Alex Smith, at a time when he was considered barely mediocre. Foles just won Superbowl MVP. They can get a late 1st or at least and early 2nd+ for Foles. Teams always overpay for what they perceive as a competent QB.
