Probably has something to do with him rejecting the QO from the Warriors and signing only a 1 year contract. Probably a rule made to stop players from cheating the system and rejecting QO's just to sign a 1 year deal and be a UFA the next off-season

Whats funny about this is that if McCaw stayed with the Warriors, he wouldve had more money on a guaranteed contract. I hope all of this was worth it, but I sense red flags on this guy. Also, I dont think he is better than anyone on the team except MAYBE Malachi.

This is not a roster move that people need to be excited about, if McCaw is playing important minutes for the Raptors at any point in time this season that will mean that things have taken a serious wrong turn with our roster.

I watched him in summer league as a rookie and he was easily the best player on the court, so I'll forever be biased even though rational-me knows SL shouldn't mean anything.

If we weren't contending, sure, but with this current team? I don't really get it. He's not good enough to get playing time here right now (provided CJ Miles has finally stopped getting PT) and he doesn't shoot (which is this team's greatest need).

Imo he's not really worth a roster spot, just like Lorenzo Brown wasn't worth a roster spot.
