This rim protection is something I'm gonna have to get used to lol.

Yep. Cliff says he doesn't want the new guys playing pick-up out there but allows MCW, Bacon, and Randle to ignore planned mismatches to instead drive head down at the basket.ChosenSavior wrote:Carter was in good post position and MCW ignored him lol

The way I looked at the draft at the time:
Mo: Dwight potential (physical specimen)
WCj: Okafor potential (fundamentally sound)
At a lesser level, this is still the case and I actually like the pairing as a 1-2 punch.

how many times has WCJ had a mismatch and we miss him? do we need Okeke to play Point Guard too? he seems to be the only one trying to set people up

We haven't held opponents to under 100 points in consecutive games all season. Wonder if they'll do it today.

I'd love to re-sign Otto. I'm anxious to see how Harris plays. If he's as good as the other new players, going to be hard to see where Ross fits as a 1-trick-pony on this team.

Did we somehow not get worse after the trades?
We had nothing special before the trade and freed up time for players with potential. If Harris comes back soon (I have no idea what his injury timeline is) we'll be very close to where we were for sure.

We've needed a guy like Otto for a few years (instead of AG at the 3) hopefully he agrees to stick around. He lets the game come to him and seems pretty good at everything.

The problem with this goofy 5 man rotation Clifford is using at PF/C is that Okeke has been on the bench since the 2:13 mark of the third quarter.
At no point should your best player, and he's definitely the best guy they have right now, sit almost 9 consecutive minutes of game action.
