I’m on the Murray bandwagon. I’m kinda tired of just seeing Paolo get double teamed and not having a reliable guard to help him out. This whole by committee thing really doesn’t convince me. I don’t wanna spend paolos formative years because of our FO being afraid of making moves. Idc who we bring but please do something and not we got some second rounders just to sell them later. That doesn’t do anything. And I still don’t get why JI can’t play 20 min. Tired of all the mystery. A couple more games we’re gonna be looking from the outside into the playoffs. I think the FO aspired for play-in tournament, and because we overachieved in their eyes they feel no pressure to make things happen and that will leave me upset. We need some balls making moves in our FO.

I don't disagree with any of you guys, but he is the player that fits what we want to have here. Yes, he is probably bit more expensive than some of the names, but is far from untouchable. This is not a franchise talent we are talking about, Bulls certainly are not rebuilding around him. If our FO is not enquiring about him, they are not doing their job properly.

I wonder what it would cost to get rozier. I'd rather have him then Murray or really want name that's realistically on the market

Coby has been good for what, 25-35 games? Who is going to overpay to find out if it’s legit or not? The other guys have multiple seasons worth of data to go by.

I like Coby White...but he's basically a bigger, maybe better Cole Anthony. He's having a fantastic year but, based on Jett vs AB stories, I'm thinking Mosely not interested in guys that aren't good defenders in the SL (until everyone gets hurt at least). Murray definitely checks the defense box better than White and Rozier, etc

I don't watch Bulls, but when I did see them, White was good defensively. Statistically, Bulls were 5th defense in the league last season and this year they suck. Billy Donovan is praising him for his defense this year: https://www.si.com/nba/bulls/news/coby-whites-work-on-the-defensive-end-impresses-billy-donovan-the-most

That's what coaches do when guys that suck try harder. I could be wrong - I'm admittedly going mostly on reputation. I'd love to have him and have actually proposed trades for him BEFORE he showed out this season and got my usual "He's another Poole-give it up" knucklehead response.

Harris/Okeke/Houstan/2024 2nd
for
Bojan Bogdanovic

Detroit gets a veteran guard known for his defense, which could help address some of their defensive issues. They get a second-round pick which is a nice asset to help in their rebuild. They get two prospects, one is a potential floor spacer and the other is a potential 3&D wing.

Orlando gets a vet that can provide scoring and experience.

I doubt they do this. Most likely they’ll look for a 1st round pick

Does choir boys just mean not having a criminal history or being part of a gang? If so, I’m okay with sticking to ‘choir boys’.

No but it should be considered when building any type of team. You don’t just bring anyone on because they’re talented.

I don’t understand why people say we missed out on IQ.

He was traded for OG Anounoby Knicks were not interested in young players and draft picks.

Herb has a great contract, are they really that strapped?

This is the type of opportunity we should be ALL over.

Defensive wing with a TS% of 61%

Hell, if we don't want to go after Simons or Dejounte, we could start him alongside Suggs and SUFFOCATE guards without sacrificing on shooting. Suggs at 40% from deep and Jones at 38%...

Even off the bench, he could be play major minutes.

I'd be selling picks like candy to get some of these available guards and wings.

If the price is low enough, it's definitely worth looking into.
