When MLS/TFC went to apple TV I simply stopped watching.
Nba might force people like me to do the same thing.
Paying for cable is more than any of the streaming services multiple times over. Hell, prime video is 3$/mo for the ad free version lol. And I'm not sure what you're watching the games on, but their "4k" on a 65+ in TV looks awful.
I get what you are saying about having to pay for the streaming services, but unless you are doing over the air stuff, you're gonna pay one way or the other. At least streaming can hit actual 4k.
I actually get super super low (bulk rate) for cable and internet from rogers, through a group. I get all the Rogers and Bell sports channel included (except TSN+ Streaming).
My experience with streaming in the past was that it was not reliable.
The average person is paying like $200/month for cable. Some condos get bulk discounts, but people in rental units and single homes pay the full price (unless they're willing to negotiate).
Prime costs $10/month (and you also get the benefit of free, one-day delivery on Amazon orders). Netflix is $17/month. Disney+ is $15, Apple TV is $13/month, etc. Even if you're interested in all of this, it's still way cheaper than cable. But the nice thing about streaming is you don't need to pay for all the services, just the ones that interest you. I'm not sure how much extra sports will cost on top of the regular monthly subscription (if anything), but I bet it'll still be less than $2400/year for all your subs.
