This shows you’re too identified with the team bro. The playoffs are what it’s all about. Got to be able to enjoy the ups and downs without getting too attached to the outcome, otherwise what are you doing?

Us fans all want the Knicks to win, but we have no control over it. Unless you’re at the game and think you psyche the other team out with screaming or something.

So if they lose it stings a bit sure, but it doesnt mean WE lost or matter much in the grand scheme of things in the world.

/tedtalk.

With that said, our boys will finish the job.

To me right now, it feels like the weight of each basket is so heavy. I watch the entire game super stressed just wanting the Knicks to blow the Sixers out so I can watch and enjoy it without worrying of a comeback.. and Maxey literally never lets us get a "comfortable" lead, so he keeps my anxiety super high throughout the game and last game was so bad lol.

You are me. See you at tip off.

Nah it being a 9pm game and me having to be up at 5am is making it real tempting lmao

Take a power nap before the game. Get another 4 hours before work. You good.

Thought about that too but do you realize what a privilege it is to watch playoff basketball with a rooting interest after years-long drought? Nah watch the game dude...

Game delayed until 9 so Scott Forster has enough time to place all his bets

I’ve been around for the Ewing blown finger roll, and the Charles Smith blown layup. This is nothing.

I have a family member whose Apple Watch alerted her to heart irregularities after Game 5.

I was unbelievably angry/upset after the game 5 loss. A normal loss, I can handle. That type of blown game choke job was too much. I needed 24 hours to get composed.

That's my worst sports moment. I climbed a tree and just sat in it for like two hours after that one. Ewing being the one who missed it made it so much worse.

Feeling happiness and sadness is all part of the fan experience. We just need to keep perspective is all.

I treat sports like movies/tv shows. It wouldn’t be as fun to watch something and not get into it, but at the end of the day it’s entertainment. Nothing to get too stressed about.

The Knicks mean a lot to me and I want them to kick ass, but if they lose it’s not a reflection of the fans or New York. We move regardless.

I’m with you ICH. Last game took so much out of me, I may need a break tonight. I don’t know if I can hold off until tomorrow but I may check in here and there on the box score

That's what I told my wife... check the score, here and there. She doesn't get it, but unless you're in it like us... you just don't understand. Lol
