I would find it nicely ironic if Bogdan got shut out of offers for a long period, ala Ramon Sessions in 2009.

Just read it can’t because it’s a 2 year deal. I guess it needs to be 3 year deal to work in a S&T.

We'd have to make it for 3 years, not including any option years. Right now the reported deal is for one year, plus one player option year

Rewind two years ago. We dominated the regular season and were two games from the NBA finals. Future looked bright. Rewind to last year. We dominate the regular season, slump through the playoffs and lose to the Heat. Future looks grey. What happened? Were our rosters inferior to the Raptors and Heat? Were our playoff rosters inferior to the Raptors and Heat? Or was our coaching inferior? If you win that many games, there is a good chance you should make it to the finals. Now it looks like everything is falling apart. What if we had just won those two extra games? Would Giannis have been a lock to stay?

With better playoff coaching would we needed to have traded for Holiday and given up all our assets? Giannis likely would have been satisfied here and also not wanted influence in FO decisions.

Bud brought us to our highest point of optimism in years, but he's also levelled our expectations of how good we can be, even with Holiday, a hypothetical Bogs and Giannis.

That said, Giannis on a mediocre Bucks team is better than no Giannis for everyone but Giannis. Horst and Bud are gone without Giannis. The owners would sell without Giannis because he's the one who brings in the money. We'd have no hope for a decade. With Giannis, there's hope of winning but also hope eventually of getting a haul back to pull us out of the misery and into the Bucks-fan drug called Hope for your Hurt. (jump to Hurt video).

For me he is on offence a big upgrade but on D he is not, he is not hidden in big match and that id a huge pluss over Bledsoe.

For me the plan was this off season to upgrade both guard possition and by then i didn't know we can trade so many future first round picks.

A Schroder trade could happen with Bledsoe and a first round pick and two future second picks, that save us 2 first round picks and 10 millions.
We could offer then Hill/ Dj and Donte ( i believe Kings wanted him all along thats why he must be in the trade) and sign Bogdan.

So Schroder/ Bogdan/ Khris/ Giannis/ Lopez with 2 irst round picks and 10 more millions to work with.

I dont know how good Holiday is cause i only watched him playing against the Bucks so i hope he is that good ..
