Yes! The advanced stats say so!
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

Even though he is not a superstar, anyone is prone to having a bad series

Apparently, a superstar never has a bad series...

Harden is struggling right now...doesn't change what he did throughout the season...the term "superstar" might be stretching it, because I think only like 5 players can be considered "superstars" (LeBron, Wade, Durant, Howard, Paul in some order, with LeBron 1st)...but Harden is an excellent player, and is probably top 20 in the league, which puts him in "star" territory.

Yeah, advanced stats say sooo much things.

Apparently Nash is the best offensive player of all time, Harden a superstar and more important player than Durant and here comes the gem: advanced stats told us Deng was actually the real MVP of the Bulls, and of course, the Playoffs proved that.

Advanced stats are just too awesome, more than actually watching games and understanding all the aspects of a basketball game.

No one is saying harden is a scrub, but a superstar? get outta here with that

We're lowering the bar on what a superstar is, he's a highly effective role player of the bench against second units, nothing more nothing less

I've been saying Harden was a horrid defender for months now so thank you to Scott Brooks for "hiding" Harden on Lebron James. Your just asking to lose like that.

And again he's not a superstar, he doesnt have superstar potential.

Yeah Harden is nowhere near Durant or Westbrook, hopefully that nonsense stops.

Just lol to all the moronic guys willing to throw max money in this dude

He was exposed against Miami. i would love to see a team trying to use him as a go-to player. He is K-Mart + the beard.

He's a superstar talent, but not a superstar yet because of consistency
