Think we were going to add another 2nd rounder in there somewhere too, but essentially correct--LMAM, Udoh and a first were leaving us in addition to the other deal. Smith coming in.

But this was the home run for the Bucks in the trade that the Hawks backed out of.

I'm saying that couldn't have been the deal assuming the Redick deal was the same. Udrih would have been involved in both. So either it's incorrect, or more likely, the Redick deal changed after we knew we weren't getting Smith.

I cant wait for reports in the Sentinal/Twitter of Jennings, Ellis, Redick cruising Water Street hanging out of a car with the top down. TRIP SWAG!

I am speechless. How do the Bucks not include Ellis. The Hawks even wanting Ellis is crazy enough and to not put him in a deal.

This is a new low for the Bucks.

Did ATL want Ellis? Why did they back out?

True, but will Redick like getting 10 MPG behind the worst player in the league?

Yea, we'll sure show Miami in the playoffs. Question, would you guys switch rosters with the Bucks? No? Thought so.

JJ is a scrub and will walk in the offseason for nothing, beat it

Great post, telling the head moderator of RealGM to beat it when he came to post complimentary things is always a good idea.

Nah!

I know you guys are frustrated with always being in the middle of the pack. As much as I love J.J., this does not change much for you guys.

You will like J.J. Redick though.

I'm sure you're grinning ear to ear

the answer on that roster swap?

Lamb was pretty awful. Harris has a ton of offensive potential and is already a strong inside player. He should've been getting a lot more minutes with the Bucks than he received. I think the Magic are going to really love him if they give him a legitimate chance.

This trade will turn out to be amazingly more hilarious if Reddick bolts as a free agent and Ellis opts in for the last year of his contract.

I f'ing hate this team.

Hopefully, Redick re-signs and Harris does well in Orlando so it works out for both sides.

It likely changed or Udrih was gonna get flipped to Orlando. We didn't hear what the return was until about tenish minutes after it was broken. This would be the reason why.

Reddick is basically Ersan.

Obviously, the Jennings, Ellis, Smith thing would've been a disaster offensively but it makes a whole lot more sense than singularly trading for Redick. The Smith trade was also a big win strictly value-wise for the Bucks pending how protected the draft pick was.

The only way this trade is salvageable is if the Bucks start Redick over Ellis and sign him to like 3 -21 mil or 4- 30 mil.

There is no evidence supporting that the Hawks wanted Ellis and us not including him is what killed the deal. Stop posting this.

I hope Redick doesn't resign, the worst thing we could do right now is to lock an overrated 6th man up for 4/5 years

Redick doesn't belong in that group, he's actually an efficient and good player. That's not why I hate this deal. I hate it because it doesn't make any god damned sense.

I didnt post anything about the Redick deal or any assumption on the deal. Merely what ATL backed out of.

The Bucks will massively overpay to keep Redick.

It's how they roll.

Did Atlanta even want Ellis, was anything involving Ellis the reason this deal did not get done?

Is it confirmed the Bucks refused to give up Monta? Is that true?

The sad part is that it doesn't get any better if Redick doesn't bolt and we pay him 4/40

I know. You guys have had it rough being in the middle and going no where for years.

You guys deserve a great team in Milwaukee.
