I was able to change my vote, but I think you should be able to delete the poll, then add a new one...

If the Heat were to win out and win their first playoff game they'd break San Antonio's streak of 20 games straight into the playoffs.

I'll go with Orlando. A team that is better than their record. Plays very hard. Heat will be tired. Road game.

Is the streak based strictly one regular season wins, or if this were to happen they'd split the streaks into two different ones.

Best regular season streak of all time
and
Best streak of all time

Well this same issue just happened in hockey with the Chicago Blackhawks. They were on like a 25 game streak without a loss and had won like 6 in a row to end the last regular season. NHL said the 5-6 games they won the previous year wouldn't count and that it is only during a single regular season.

Not sure how the NBA would treat it.

I just think it's cool the Heat firmly secured #2 on the all-time list. No offense to the Rockets but they didn't belong with those other teams on that game streak list.

Still too early to call beating 33 wins. If i see the heat in the high 20's though then all bets are off.

This struck me as the closest its gonna come to ending for a long time. Celtics almost pulled it out, but fell just short--and even that took Jeff Green having the night of his life, Boston being at home, and Miami being on the 2nd night of a back to back.

I really hope they don't lose to like the bobcats or something. If anybody should break this streak, it should be the spurs.

Where did i say that?

My point was if you look at that list top 5 top 10 even they were all either championship winners that season or strong contenders. The Rockets were neither and lost in the first round. Again i'm not taking away their accomplishment but they weren't being gunned for every-night like the Heat or the '72 lakers were i presume.

Lebron James with his 2nd game winner in this 23 games streak, to keep the streak alive. He's a monster. Miami have a few easier games in a row now, they should be able to extend it to 29 if they play good ball.

I don't think they'll ever lose again this season.. perhaps not even next season. This is the best NBA team the league has ever known. Wow!
