Bargs is a very very good three point shooting big
Bargs is an ok rebounder and shot blocker when in position
Bargs isnt a bad passer
Bargs isnt terrible making a shot fake and drive
I only inject these notes because hes done it to us as a craptor tons of times
perhaps he can be slightly more useful to us than Camby on the bench and Novak nowhere to be found
hell, his D and rebounding arent as bad as novak. thats something
Honestly, his man to man defense is very good. His help defense on the other hand... forget about it.

lol...if this how much the average knick fan knows about basketball?
lets trade an aging center who is declining for another aging center who is declining...but this one is more injury prone!!!!

lets hope so!j127 wrote:NoLayupRule wrote:just to inject a tad of non-panic conversation:

Bargnani will definitely be better in NY than he was in Toronto the last couple of years (barring injury, of course). If he's healthy, I think he'll be a great option for the Knicks on the offence. If this deal goes down, hopefully someone in the coaching staff can motivate him.
I think it's a win-win deal for both teams.

jstarks10 wrote:LOL ur a mod? how would barf be better in NY than TOR?
Barf was the first or second option in the first unit last couple of seasons. He was the 'go-to' guy in offense. He was allowed to take as many freakin 3's as he wanted in TOR. After his injury, he was changed to a role player who came off the bench and guess what...he still SUCKED.
How the hell would he be better in the knicks if hes playing with melo, chandler, felton, amare?
Knicksfan20 wrote:Never Wrong wrote:Knicksfan20 wrote:With Amare and Bargani we should have 41 games with a healthy PF between the two if them.
Silly to put them in the same boat. Nobody's in the same situation as Amare.
What's silly is the fact that Andrea has played less games the passed 2 seasons then Amare has.

Just saying.
i have no issue taking on bargs
I HAVE A HUGE ISSUE GIVING THEM CAP RELIEF AND PICKS
WE'RE THE ONE WHO ARE SUPPOSED TO GET PICKS IN RETURN FOR TAKING ON GARBAGE CONTRACTS

he hasn't shot well the last 2 seasons

3 **** picks!? THREE **** PICKS!?!?!?!?!!?

If Bargnani had the exact same stats, but was a 2nd round pick in '06, I would bet anything that the reaction wouldn't be this negative. He gets a ridiculously bad rap because he never lived up to being the overall 1st pick.
