Only team looking scary is from Honduras.

France looks good, but they're playing a horrible team. Next game will be interesting.

being young-ish and so vibrant, i have a feeling france is going to earn every neutral fan's affection only to be viciously eliminated by a neymar goal in 119th minute in semi finals.

They've been looking better and better ever since they've qualified. Ex.: Against Jamaica or not, you don't just beat a team by 8 goals.

Jordan never fully understood basketball. He had the lowest basketball IQ of any NBA "superstar" in history.

I thought he was loaned out because they couldn't get a work permit for him.

Completely agree, I think they could go really far. But this game doesn't really mean much since Honduras sucks.

Highlight of the game: goal-line technology was necessary for the first time ever.

Yay.

I believe the work permit issue was solved last summer. I think the Olympiakos loan this season was just to get him some more regular playing time.

No, they already got a work permit prior to last year. He was loaned out to get consistent PT.

Looks like Benzema has finally taken his game to the next level on the international stage, first goals by him in an international competition.

Honduras beat themselves at their game by overdoing it with the agression.

France also scored the first golden goal in history when we beat Paraguay in 1998 (goal scored by Blanc in overtime) when the golden goal rule was first introduced, so rule changes seem to work out well for the team. Next step : allowing video replays in certain instances.

This group is so **** easy compared to any other group in this world cup.

Honduras is terrible. Switzerland & Ecuador have a couple good players but thats about it.

Even England would have a legit chance to advance in this group.

This game should tell us how far France can really go in the tournament. So far it looks pretty wide open regarding who ends up as WC champions.
