He ran out of gas in that 2nd OT played about 50 minutes...overall bad showing from the Warriors ugly game from them.

Got a good look at Durant tonight, he's pretty scary defensively. I think offensively he's doing nothing new, I mean he is playing off ball a bit more fluidity but that's because of how unusually good of a team he has.

His two way play might elevate this to his real peak season. Looks like a premier defender out there.

He is having a monster game tonight defensively. DPOY type of performance. Just ridiculous.
His playmaking has been awesome as well. He is really doing everything on the court.

KD has been a all defensive level defender this season.

He's fully embraced rim protection. He's looking like Kevin Garnett out there from that standpoint.

I dont think hes far off but id say borderline, there are some things i still need to see from him against the top offenses and pickandroll coverage IMO. I think consistency against certain offenses still needs improvement but his best defensive performances this season have easily been up there with the best defenders in the league outside like the true top tiers best (mostly bigs/centers)

For the forward spot on all defense he has to compete with Draymond, Roberson, Millsap, Kawhi, Lebron, Jimmy (sinces hes been Sf this season tho Kd has been his superior on both ends IMO), Gibson.....

Tony and Thabo might get votes too even tho they dont have the minutes or the impact they used to have there to overcome minutes disadvantage (specially Tony).

His shots been off missed alot of open ones but hes had a great impact on both ends specially defensively. He did alot better against Blake than i thought he would. His strength is underrated hes not the strongest guy or anything but he has that Kg wirey strength def not the twig he used to be

wow and i say that he just shut down a postup by Speights into an airball

This game and the OT vs Rockets is where he was really off. It's ok tho. Just one bad game.

He is doing a great job of involving everyone but sometimes he is needed to be the unstoppable scoring machine that he is when the offense is struggling like it was tonight. He is the most gifted scorer in the league. His scoring gifts need to be utilized more imo. Kerr has to step in and talk to him about that. Steph is more assertive when needed which is the right thing to do when the offense is struggling or when he is shooting well. Kevin needs to do the same when he is shooting well and when the team need buckets to get going. You can't rely on the flow of the offense all the time. Sometimes that doesn't work.

I think they may just be going thru the motions in the season. Win a few and lose a few, just try to end up with the best record is probably the goal for them for the regular season at least.

Yeah they won't put everything into the RS like last season but they still have some issues that needs figuring out. I think no matter how talented they are, they should never take anything for granted. They have to deliver and play good defense against good teams.

According to NBA.com, opponents have shot just 40.1 percent with Durant defending them, and 44.7 percent when he is not. And opponents who normally shoot 60.6 percent from within six feet of the rim shoot just 49.4 percent with Durant defending, ranking Durant among the best non-centers in the league.
