2 years $19 million. I like it. Need shooting now. Our bigs are Thompson, Theis, timelord, Tacko. I like that.

I need Wannamaker back and shooting and scoring off the bench. Edwards needs to be able to make shots this year. Romeo should start.

Wanamaker just signed for 2.25 mill in golden state

I think he'll be a very serviceable backup there. Good for him!

All right, I'll be the one to ask:

How much worse is TT actually than MT?

WHO then? Miles Turner? Embiid? Jokic? Antonio Davis? Legit enough? Or maybe that 2020 2nd round 7' "steal" we passed on?

C'mon, you have to work with what can happen, not what could have been or what might be. Ships. Have. Sailed.

Ibaka wasnt signing here. The question I have left is there even money to sign any vet PG? They can't possibly try to roll with a rookie. Wannamaker just took peanuts like 2m to play for GS.

You do realise the inability for the other team to stop him doing that is a major reason the Cavs beat the Celtics and the Warriors don't you?

This seems objectively incorrect. There is a reason Kanter was pretty much unplayable for most of the playoffs. Also, it is not $19 million a season.

You’re right, we’re stuck with him for two years now and wasted our MLE to increase our bench defense slightly while providing everything else that Kanter offered.

No, no, great move. I’m sure this will go swimmingly well...

Enjoy the shiny new toy guys.

I think people are not grasping the concept of restricted free agency.

Totally grasp it. If you wait for another team to throw the offer thats fine but maybe you get stuck having to pay an extra 10- 20 mil on top because you now have to match it. You won't lose him but you also don't get the discount. Being restricted does not deter all teams especially if its a small market ready to overpay like Charlotte or a crap team like the Knicks.

Totally deters Charlotte. They still have to do the same cap bloodletting they will do for Hayward, but instead of getting Hayward, they don’t get Hayward OR Brown.

I kind of think he'll start over Theis.

The GB, including Cavs fans: Great move by the Celtics, brings a lot of what they lost with Baynes.

A third of this board: Bad move, what the hell Danny?!

Bryn Forbes

Isn't Tristan Thompson available? And Baynes?

I'd like to get a big ass first order of business: Ibaka, Giles, Baynes, Thompson

Fixed

Well.. seems like my fix panned out.

This moves Theis to the bench where he belongs as an energy big man.

Thompson is a much better player than Kanter. Basically the best player left out there for the MLE
