Rickey Green...Played point guard for my 76ers one year. I think it was the 90-91 season. Started pretty much every game that year because Johnny Dawkins went down with a knee injury. Played pretty well, never saw him again after the playoffs. I remember him because we had the same jersey number #14 for basketball.

Ervin (not Earvin "Magic") Johnson. Career highs of 8 pts and 11 rebs per game, but had a 13 year career. I remember him for the obvious name (mis-) association, but also for the fact said name led to me being duped into a highly one-sided basketball card swap in elementary school... :lol:

Also Cherokee Parks and Yinka Dare (RIP), was a fan of the names, not so much of the games... :lol:

For the aughts my pick is probably Pat Garrity. Played all but one year in the decade. All of his aughts career was with Orlando, probably the most mediocre franchise that decade. Never played out of the first round. Never won an award.

Bart Kofoed– a biggish, sort of gritty shooting guard in the mold of a Bobby Hansen. Played for the Jazz for awhile in the late eighties or early nineties. Cut from the Jazz (and possibly blacklisted from the league?) after getting drunk at a New Year's Eve party and punching his teammate– Bobby Hansen, in the face, breaking his cheekbone.
