The way Boone responds to elite competition tells me they don’t have what it takes to end the 16-year drought. They fold like wet cardboard. We saw what happened to them when they faced the Dodgers. That was a winnable series if they didn’t have a soft clubhouse attendant at the helm, whose team was fundamentally ill-prepared and cracked hard under pressure. It’s not like this is a new problem because it has existed since this guy became manager.

Early season. Stats are going to be skewed for a bit and not to be trusted. Prior to tonight’s game, Volpe and Judge were tied for 2nd in the AL with 4 HRs.

I’ll agree with you if this is still the case later in the season.

I don't understand the Soto hate though. I enjoyed what he gave us last season and it's not his fault the Mets wanted him more. The Yankees knew he was going to go where the money was.

No one is gonna turn down nearly a billion dollars. Fans need to look at Hal and ask why he refused to go all in at the deadline last year when we had a legit chance to win. Now the Dodgers are loaded and we spent the last 72 hours getting smacked by the Diamondbacks :noway:

Man, fuq Juan Soto. I hope he falls way short of earning even half the money he was given.
