This guy being at 53 pitches in the 5th inning after throwing almost 30 in the first alone is outrageous. Its like we've completely thrown out the gameplan that destroyed the Yankees after just one inning.

lots of top of the zone misses for the Jays. getting under it and popping it up or weak contact. Miller in a groove.

Absolutely embarrassing at bats from this team against this scrub pitcher. I guess this team partied too hard against the Yankees, and forgot they still had to play another team to go to the World Series.

I guess they think since it’s a “scrub” pitcher they should have that approach, or he’s just making great pitches and is having a good day.

We were A LOT more patient vs the Yankees. That was our bread and butter, why are we going away from it? Lots of 1 or 2 pitch at bats this game against the Mariners worst pitcher. Hard contact or not, he should have been out of the game after the 2nd inning if we stuck to our original approach. We look incredibly anxious and impatient at the plate today.
