Orlando does this to help round out our roster. We liked what Bell could offer our team, but he is at a position were he would get very limited time. Nick will be in our primary rotation and fits our team much better. The on the extra salary and losing our 2010 1st is a steep price, but we feal it is worth the risk

Trade approved - Please update your rosters

BTW-The Marcus Williams in this deal is not the PG that was drafted by the Nets, played for GSW, etc.

That Marcus Williams is on the Memphis Grizzlies in real life, and he was actually included in a trade to my team. I believe the other Marcus Williams is actually Marcus E. Williams, and I think he's a backup PF that plays for the San Antonio Spurs in real life.

We accept. Sorry to lose Birdman but we have a similar (somewhat..) player in Wilcox and couldn't pass up the chance to add Thomas, who will be moved shortly.

Salary:

Chris Andersen - $3,650,000
Ime Udoka - $1,033,342

for

Tyrus Thomas 4,743,598

atl accepts

Dallas accepts because they improve their team overall and also get rid of Maggette's horrible contract. Also are sad to see Gortat go, he was a favorite of mine but in exchange for Okur i can't turn that down. I also like how my team would look after the trade.

Still looking to get rid of Jaric for whatever though?

Utah accepts. I didn't like Okur's extension, and do this trade to get younger, improve our interior defense, and save some money. And, to make approving the trade easier, here are the salary figures for each team:

Dallas out - Maggette, Gortat, Humphries, Thornton - $18.2M
Dallas in - Crawford, Okur - $18.4M

Atlanta out - Crawford - $9.4M
Atlanta in - Maggette, Fesenko, Thornton - $10.3M

Utah out - Okur, Fesenko - $9.9M
Utah in - Gortat, Humphries - $8.8M

Dalas does it to rid themselves of some contracts and shorten their salary, also because i have a feeling T-Mac will comeback strong and him and Dirk on the same team each playing at a high level sounds good to me.
I know the salary works out i just don't have time to do it getting real tired. Also we will wait for it to get done because the Denver trade was done a day ago or two but im not sure.

SAN and PHI have a blockbuster to annouce.

SAN outgoing:

Al Harrington - $10,026,875
Tyrus Thomas - $4,743,598

PHI outgoing:

Elton Brand - $14,858,472

This trade completes our team, we bring in a star PF to take the pressure off of Duncan in the frontcourt, and makes us an even better defensive team. We now think we are the 1# contender in the league. We had our reservations but Brand is 100% healthy (http://www.fantasysp.com/player/nba/Elton_Brand/449391) coming into this season and he has something to prove. Plus he isn't even 30 yet, which is a plus.

Oklahoma City and Charlotte have agreed to a trade.

Thunder trade/Bobcats receive:
Nenad Krstic $5,160,832
Thabo Sefelosha $2,759,628
DJ White $1,036,440
Theo Ratliff 825,497
2010 Memphis 1st (Chicago has right to swap picks)
9,782,397 x 1.25 = $12,227,996 > $11,700,000

Bobcats trade/Thunder receive:
Tyson Chandler $11,700,000
Dontell Jefferson $736,420
Joel Anthony $825,497
2012 Bobcats 2nd

Bobcats do it because we cut salary, add what has the potential to be a lottery pick, add two really good prospects, and a center I really like. Loosing Chandler stings and changes my direction in this game, but I didn't have the necessary pieces to build a contender (I still don't), but I am now getting closer.

The 76ers accept. When we brought in Aldridge, we knew we would have to move Brand eventually, he has been injured over the past few seasons anyway. We bring in a nice expiring and a young player, both of which should help this team move forward for the future.

OKC accepts. Costs us a fair bit to get Chandler, but there are few quality Centers on the market, and he's one I really like.

Mavericks have decided to bring over Tiago Splitter for a 5 year rookie deal.

Don't know what his contract would be but his last year is a QO, the two years before that are TO.

The Raptors and Kings have agreed upon a trade:

Morris Almond $855,189
Stephen Graham $855,189
Luther Head $855,189
Quincy Douby $855,189
Brian Skinner $855,189
Sonny Weems $736,420 ($5,012,365)
for
Reggie Evans $4,960,000
Donte Greene $1,044,000
2010 SAC 2nd Rounder ($6,004,000)

$5.012365x1.25 = $6.2>6.0

All of the Raptors players are on unguaranteed contracts, and as part of the deal, Sacramento has agreed to waive all of them, of which Quincy Douby, Brian Skinner, Sonny Weems and Stephen Graham will return on minimum contracts.

Raptors accept, Evans is a productive player off the bench and I don't mind taking him on with Greene and the 2nd coming back.

Kings Accept, while we did like reggie as a backup big on our team, he was just being paid to much to sit there, this allows us to bring in another player of possibly more quality in the offseason while staying at around the prjected cap of 58 million. Sacramento is not fond of spending in such a small market and this deal works out well for us. we did not see Donte Green as a part of the future here and the 2010 sac 2nd was not going to be of any value anyways since 2nds raerly pan out into anything.

illegal, players must clear waivers (every other team has 1st crack at those guys) before you can claim them
