Hawks have still 27 mil in cap space and they seem all in Bogdan, but I really doubt if they are willing to give up anything of value to get him. I mean Sacramento would ask at least for Huerter or a future 1st. Lakers still have KCP to work a double s/t but they don't have more money to offer to Bogdan or better assets for Sacramento (Donte>>>Kuzma).

It would be a huge surprise at this point for Horst to pull this off, but he still has 16 mil available for Bogdan. Honestly Jrue/Bogdan/Midds/Giannis/Brook with a bench of Augustin, Portis and rookies is better than any other deeper team we can have.

This is the best plan. Instead of going like 12 deep all the time with mostly vets, get a super solid top 8 or so and some rookies that we can audition and see if any hit.

Guys, stop making me thing there's still a sliver of hope for this. The idea was probably presented via Giannis and our cap expert rightfully pursued it and found a deal and then it blew up, regardless of who is at fault. And now there's no way Horst is capable of pulling off this dynamic of a move with this many moving parts.

Too busy securing that 3rd year for Pat....*laughs*.......*cries*

How the hell does he have 16M left?

Is it 16 mil with DDV, DJ, and Pat's new deal?

I'm starting to get my hopes up that we're getting Bogs afterall.

Bucks fandom is a rollercoaster of emotion. I'm sure the cart is yet to come flying off the tracks again.

Those guys make 13. Please explain the 17.5 number.

That comes from the cap space we have but I think it's just shy of 17 unless the Leuer dead cap gets removed.

I don't know why I do this to myself. Reports are still saying it's likely Bogdan signs an offer sheet for 4/72, that's 18/yr.

What's the max we can offer through a sign & trade? I've seen 16.4 and then 17.5 referenced above. Would he really prefer playing in Atlanta for an additional 1.6 mil per year?

Thanks. I don't see how we could possibly have cap space.

Just reporting that Hawks still believe they're the favorite to sign Bogdan for 4/72.

We're not getting Bogdan. Patty was signed because he is close with Gianiss and a high character guy. Horst is so overwhelmed he forgot the calculator.

It's not just about would he rather play for the Hawks for that extra $1-2 million, but also the Kings. Sacramento holds the leverage here, which seems to be kind of lost in this whole situation. Obviously then the issue becomes if a team like the Lakers swoops in and if the Kings prefer a package centered around Kuzma over Donte.

If the numbers are true, Bucks can also offer 4yrs at $17.5 per. That's pretty close.

For the record Nwora is supposed to be a better version of Kuzma

We can't lose Bogdan to the Hawks for the same money.
WE JUST CAN'T.

We don't have cap space. It's the amount of salary we can bring back with the aforementioned S&T package for Bogdanovic, which isn't happening and people need to move on.
