I hope so. For me, this is burns on several levels:
* No one likes to be soooo wrong about a person. I really do hope Larry gets his stuff together. From familial experience, that is a very painful experience that doesn't always work.
* I really liked LARRY SANDERS! - one of my favorite Bucks for a long time
* He could have been so helpful for this team this year and ahead.

I won't apologize but feel free to treat yourself to a cookie.

Two lessons

Always let your free agents get to restricted free agency unless the guy is an all star prospect type like Giannis. Other players need all four years before you know what you have. And the market many times proves out a guys true worth.

Administer psych tests with your players. Some guys "retire" the minute they sign that big second contract.

Well we do have that new face reader now, which doesn't bode well for JOB is he ever reaches fee agency status here.

No worries. We have facial recognition guys now. They should be able to spot a stoner.

Some of us saw the patterns of behavior both on and off the court and knew it would end badly. Now that it has it's only the right thing to do is give some small apology for the people who stood bye their convictions that Larry was just a bad apple. I am sure the new owners had wished they had moved him. It's costing them a lot of money for nothing. Not only did Larry mess up this season in some ways but he also has handcuffed the team to some extent for 7 years to come. I personally do not feel a tiny bit sorry fot this guy. He had what so many dream of growing up and he gave it up because he is more interested in partying.

4 or 5 years from now he will be broke and filing for bankruptcy for sure. Jail is probably in his future as well.

What about those of us from the beginning who didn't think he had done anything in his career that justified getting the contract the majority here thought he deserved?

Who drove the extention: Kohl, Hammond, door #3?

My thought was that Larry got the big extension because he was going to be the face of the franchise after "Have it all" and "Baddy Chuck" refused to sign with the Bucks. Remember this was Kohl's last ditch effort to keep the franchise and he needed to have someone to market.

The extension was driven by Kohl. Hammond didn't want to give him that much.

I tried to tell people from the beginning that Sanders wasn't worth the contract he was going to get and that he was a cancer in the locker room. A lot of people argued with me and the pack mentality of this board took over. In the end, I was right the whole time.

Completely agree with GAD, but that's the case in today's political landscape.

I really want to know what happened at the team meeting a month or so ago after a loss when Sanders was his terrible self, he never played another minute after that meeting.

I don't know. I find it astonishing that several of these guys are billionaires...

* Glen Taylor is a Herb Kohl clone. Nice guy, but utterly out of his depth trying to run an NBA team without cocking it up.
* Mikhail Prokhorov - can't run the club to save his soul, but he will make a bazillion dollars on the sale of the Nets.
* Jim Buss - born on third base, and still hasn't shown he's any better than the rest of us idiots at running a ball club
* Jim Dolan - Knicks.... see Jim Buss
* Vivek Ranadive - Like Uncle Herb, his greatest gift is keeping the team in town. After that, operations are open to debate...
* Sarver, Kroenke, and Jordan round out the bottom of the pile. I'll give Jordan a little more credit as he's starting to figure his best use from the Hornets perspective is to worry more about golf and less about basketball - it's working better for him.

Really hope he gets the help he needs now. Loved the guys energy, even when he went into Rasheed Wallace mode and was giving refs the thumbs up and everything. Hope he gets everything sorted out and is able to come back to basketball at some point. Always love a good redemption story.

 I would love for a brew hooper or Gardner or anyone to ask that question. I doubt we get an answer but that was the day the **** apparently hit the fan. Someone needs to get drunk with One of the players or bucks employees and get them to spill the beans.
