Milwaukee is selecting Wiggins.
We are drafting Parker
seems like the most likely scenario. i'll continue to hold out hope that Milwaukee goes for Parker, but i'm not counting on it
Milwaukee already has the Greak Freak as their future SF.
Parker makes more sense to them, especially with defensive minded centers like Henson and Sanders on the team.

I know his fit next to MCW isn't perfect, but apparently his advanced stats are top notch, and has tons of physical tools and potential on both ends. Plus, we haven't heard much about him regarding sixers interest, which may be another sign. Thoughts?

In last year's draft, Hinkie only drafted players who averaged over 2 steals per game with good length. Smart fits that description averaging 2.9 spg with a 6'9" wingspan. I think he would progress to be a great fit with MCW; however, we would need to trade up from the 10th to select him.

I love Smart, but personally, I think Stauskas is a much better fit with MCW. If the sixers move up from 10, hopefully its for a PF

I'm guessing due to Stauskas' superior perimeter shooting ability? To me, Smart more than compensates for his shooting ability with his NBA ready size, playmaking, rebounding, attitude, and defense. While Stauskas is an elite shooter, he doesn't really bring much else to the table. Smart is an all-around player, Stauskas seems pretty one-dimensional.

Explosion this don't make any sense to me. And I suspect it don't make any sense to Cleveland too!!!

Yes mainly because of his shooting ability, but he can take it to the rim a little bit as well. I love Smart, but whoever we put next to MCW I feel has to be able to shoot

I wouldn't necessarily say our 2 has to be a legit 3 pt shooter. If we end up drafting Parker at 3, I could definitely still see Smart as being a great fit. Essentially, as long as we add someone who can help with spacing at the 3, I think it would work.

Exactly...and I think the many of the other big name prospects are being used as distractors while I believe Smart is a legitimate candidate to end up here (trading up from the 10th spot, like you mentioned). I'm starting to think Wiggins and Smart are who we walk away with draft day.

I really hope so. MCW/Smart/Wiggins/Noel/Center is a legitimate squad oozing with potential.

As we get closer to the draft, I am becoming more interested in bringing Smart here. Besides his shot, which is improving, I don't really see much wrong with him as a prospect.

Even his shot isn't that bad. His issues were more about shot selection according to scouting reports. That should be much easier to correct than a broken shot.
The defensive potential of having MCW, Smart, Wiggins, and Noel on the floor at the same time is insane.

I think a lot of MCW's strengths come from the simple fact that most PGs can't guard him..havign a smaller 2 guard will just allow teams to match up better and take away that advantage. And honestly, Smart may just be Super Tony Wroten..which is nice but ehhhh
