Knicks should have made more of an effort to at least offer Lin the max that they were able to. My guess is that Lin didn't feel very wanted and didn't feel like Woodson or management truly valued him. Maybe both him and Fields felt the same way. Let's be honest, Lin and Fields are not Isiah-type players and Isiah is still somehow running the show.

Maybe Lin & his agent were trying to keep the offer sheet from New York because they rather play in Houston. I don't know who the hell would want that.
