Dolan will flush these rumors once Isiah tells him he should match.

Re: Fat Felton to the Knicks? Knicks not matching Lin?
Knicks should have made more of an effort to at least offer Lin the max that they were able to. My guess is that Lin didn't feel very wanted and didn't feel like Woodson or management truly valued him. Maybe both him and Fields felt the same way. Let's be honest, Lin and Fields are not Isiah-type players and Isiah is still somehow running the show.

Maybe Lin & his agent were trying to keep the offer sheet from New York because they rather play in Houston. I don't know who the hell would want that.
It's hard being a Knicks fan...

It would be so awesome if they matched and made Lin be a backup and re-earn his starting role.

you're assuming jeremy will play at the same level he did last season.

Marc J. Spears @SpearsNBAYahoo
Source says Knicks not matching is part of larger strategy. Blocks Rockets from acquiring Dwight. Apparently Orlando's next is Dwight for Amare

Maybe we missed the Yao Ming connection and influence on Jeremy Lin

I believe that is true but how would we be able to afford him either way unless we also know that we have a taker for Amare and his contract?

I'd rather take my chances with Lin because he is in basketball shape and has been with the team.

And why the hell would you assume he won't?
