Both teams suffered from coaches who had no clue how to set up an offense, and all of a sudden they're running some beautiful offenses. OKC looks like they're still being coached by Scott Brooks.
So what does that tell you?
The issue is with the players ... not the staff

Something I'm curious about after watching this game:
Portland seems to have their bigs in playmaking positions in their sets quite often. Are their bigs better at that compared to the Raptors' bigs? I'd say the Raptors could use more Horns action with the bigs at the elbows with the ball in their hands, looking for cutters/shooters and running DHO's. Thoughts?
"I definitely knew he traveled, but I didn't know they were going to call it. That was one of them situations in which a great player made a move...and they called the call. And I was like, 'Oh, man, there is a God.'

He is driving to the rim every game to the point where it's almost the strength of his game instead of shooting, and everyone knows has a high potential from 3pt range. Has at least Gordon Hayward level passing potential. So what's missing to have all-star upside? He could be better than Andrew Wiggins
Casey again says, "I don't think someone dominated us, I wouldn't use that word."

Have there been any generationally athletic bigs who can shoot free throws? Wilt/Shaq/DJ and now Drummond, all terrible free throw shooters. I guess they never really had to work on that part of their game, getting by easily through every level on their natural gifts.

He's been working exclusively with a shooting coach, Dave Hopla, on this and was looking improved (19/33 57.6%) before tonight. Even a few (I counted at least 4) of his misses tonight popped out of the basket. It's a work in progress.
