Too bad Ricky doesn't attack the rim more and more with this kind of plays. Good game for him but again, for him to have good games in Utah he needs to be outstanding shooting the ball. He doesn't have many opportunities to be good at what he's best for.

I love watching Rubio pass the ball... Just so elegant to watch :)

Never thought I'd see Kris Dunn leading the Bulls to seven straight wins. :o

It really breaks my heart to see Rubio struggle like this. I hope he can turn it around at some point.

It's weird, his scoring average is right where it was last season, but his assist numbers are way down.

Do you think Lance Stephenson will be a great fit here with the current squad?

No.

We already have Jamal so any guy that needs the ball a lot in their hands too create off the bench wouldn’t match with Jamal. Lance, tyreke, and joe Johnson would all be pretty bad fits.

Yeah, we need to balance our bench. At the moment we have instant scorer+primary ball handler in Jamal, pass-first PG in Tyus, raw 3&D prospect in MGH and backup C/PF in Gorgui. I'd like to get a spot-up shooter at SF/SG and hope for Bjelica return.

Is not weird at all. He's just playing off the ball 90% of the time.
People can say he's what he is and no coach is going to adjust his offense because of Rubio and that is fair tbh but at same time nobody can expect a playmaker like him to be efficient and make the different by playing in the worst possible way.

We all saw what happend last season with Rubio playing off the ball in the first 30 games of the season. And how much better we got (all numbers show that as well) when Thibs changed that.

Tbh, I'm not so sure if is there a system in the current NBA that fits Rubio full streights... Probably not.

That's what we were told he was doing here too.

Dunn with another solid game last night against the Bucks to bounce back from a horrible display vs Boston:

20pts (9/17 FG, 0/3 3PT, 2/4 FT), 12 assists, 2 reb, 4 steals, 2 blocks, 4 TO. His FT and 3pt shooting still needs work, but he has been improving from the line and the 2 FTs he missed last night were right after he took a hard fall after being fouled and he looked rattled. Ended the night getting ejected (with 16.5 seconds left and the game already won) after he took a slight elbow from Khris Middleton and wrestled him to the ground in retaliation. He's developing a swagger and confidence that is similar to how he carried himself before arriving in Minnesota, and his development since he moved to Chicago has been exceptional.

P.S. - hope everyone had a nice holiday season! I'm glad that the Timberwolves are on the up and up, I only wish Dunn could have been around to help; I enjoyed this forum a lot last season but I'm over on the Bulls board now to follow his progress. It seems like so far its a rare trade where both sides are getting what they wanted out of it.

Yet (by stats, didn't watch this one) he was the high scorer of the game for Utah in 22 minutes.
I think that says a lot about the Jazz offense.

Speaks more on Thibs as a coach/GM.

Wayne Ellington has been baling too! He hit 6 three's last night. Getting traded from the wolves apparently does a lot for your ability to make three point shots lol.
