its funny that sacramneto of all teams wanted to take a chance on bruno.. the team mistakes go to die. I hope bruno proves me wrong and becomes the next giannis/durant hybrid and this will look like the worst trade of all time

sac already waived him, he was better to cut than malachai who has a year more on his deal.

oh ok.. yea i didnt know the details, i literally stepped in to see this like 5 mins ago.. damn bruno end of a damn era. great times like the tiger7 encounter and always being in the background of every gif.

I’d say that half this board could run the kings better than what they’re doing. What an absolute embarrassment

The Richardson move made sense but wut at waiving Papagiannis? He isn't good but is 20 and putting up 20, 14, and 2.2 per 40 minutes in the G League (16 PER) and his contract is guaranteed next year. They're currently using roster spots on Vince, Min. Joe and Bruno all of whom are waivable, what do they need another one for?

They'll learn about Richardson when we're up 25 next time we play them.

I would be dead hanging from the rafters if I was a hardcore kings fan. Just me personally

Double Helix wrote:Richardson is an eye test scorer. On eye test you can talk yourself into seeing him almost like Jeremy Lamb (but smarter) but his efficiency is poor (which is why you can’t rely on the eye test only).

If he can work out his efficiency issues on the 905 he could be a playable rotation scorer by the time his rookie contract is up.

I guess his efficiency is poor because he seems to love taking a lot of off-the-dribble jumpers and going iso 1 on 1. He's barely seen playing time in Sacramento (buried behind several SGs like Hield, Bogdan, Ben McLemore "the failed 360 dunker on Shaqtin") so I'm going by his highlights from Syracuse instead.

Also I like some of what I read here: http://www.nbadraft.net/players/malachi-richardson and http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Malachi-Richardson-72512/

He has a 7 foot wingspan allowing him to be a potential plus defender (keyword being potential). He can also shoot off the dribble like I mentioned earlier. He does have a ball stopper mentality but is apparently a pretty good passer.

This could be a low key heist, and given that Raptors have no first round picks next year, I'll appreciate a trade like this.

Never mind the $900K saved from not paying Bruno Cabustclo this year, cushioning us further from the tax should Lowry's bonuses kick in somehow.

Hopefully Stackhouse can fashion Malachi into a useful bench player for us, hopefully enough to get his revenge on Vlade and Vivek's team and in the process ward off any more 4-game losing streaks to the Kings in the future. It looks like he has some potential.

they're keeping the wrong assets unless they somehow think that "veteran leadership" is needed for a cultural shift.
but who on the Kings' roster are they trying to shift??

The amount of fans who have mockingly expressed sentiment for Bruno has messed with Twitter’s algorithm and turned it into an official twitter moment. Lol!

So they essentially didn't even draft in 2016.

The NBA needs to take the team away from Vivek and Vlade, what an absolute sh*tshow.

Kings still have Skal aka "better than Pascal" who never sees playing time under Joerger, who loves to play old man Randolph, the guy who is paid $12 million a year to brick myriad awkward post ups and hit the rare spot up three/long two to fool Kings fans into thinking he's still good.

Vlade and Vivek do have to go though. They basically gifted Masai the first round pick he wouldn't have this June, so they could clear roster space and future salary to fortify the Cavaliers with George Hill and take Iman Bumpert off their hands. Then they waive their lottery pick from two years ago. I don't get it. I don't understand it at all.

Maybe sign Georgios to a two year deal, 2nd year partial guaranteed. He can replace Bebe as the 3rd centre next year. Send him to the 905 this year, resign Bruno once waived to 905. send Richardson to 905. We're going back to back.

Bruno noooooooo!!!!!!

Malachi has a freakish wingspan too though - IBM Watson loves the wingspan.
