If for some stupid reason we lose Ky Bowman, I'm still fully in love with Cassius Winston from Michigan State.

Underwhelming athlete, looks over wieght, and is one of the biggest competitors in college and always willing to take and make the biggest shots of the game. Also a very smart defender and floor general.

He's Draymond Green at the guard spot when you think about mental toughness and the will to win.

Last time I checked he was deep in the 2nd round. He's a guy who is instant rotational, and possibly a starting guy down the road.

Agreed. Every time I’m thinking up depth charts for next year I want to pencil him in as a 3rd PG. Ideally as an undrafted FA or you know draymond will be in Bobs ear to get a 2nd rounder lol.

I'm assuming there is almost no way we get Gobert right? He would be my ideal player for this team (after Giannis, of course)

i'd do DLo/1st for Gobert in a heartbeat...not sure if Utah takes that tho.

Oh yeah, same definitely. Probably not happening now that they have Conley, but one can hope lol.

Jazz have won 10 of 11.

However, if they don't get past the second round again, they may decide to try something else.

Gobert's deal should be coming up for extension soon. But maybe the owners there are happy as long as they sell enough tickets to keep the lights on.

Gobert will be a UFA the summer of 2021, but will be eligible for a supermax extension the summer of 2020, to the tune of 5yr/$247M, which would be the largest ever so far. Now, whether Utah will give it to him is an entirely different question. My guess would be no.

They'd have to pay Donovan around the same time right?

Correct. Gobert and Mitchell both have contracts ending summer of 2021 (even if that means they can sign extensions sooner).

Anyone got thoughts on Pokusevsky?

In the limited stats/videos i've seen, he looks like a great high ceiling flyer that can probably be stashed for a year or two. He hasn't played in any meaningful pro games so it's hard to see an NBA team take him anywhere higher than late 1st at best.

If he can put on the weight to be a center, he's got size, skill, bball iq to be a great prospect. At this point he's waaaay skinny but moves pretty well for a near 7 footer while basically playing point center at times.

Should the Warriors become a Serbian hoops dynasty with Smiley and Pokusevsky as our future frontcourt? 8-)

Yeah..... my thought on him is more of a question. Isn't he the guy who wrote Crime and Punishment? Or was that Tolstoy?
If I don't have anything funny to say, can I still have a signature?

Such a pretty jumper. Size, stats, skills seem very similar to Joe Harris at Virginia. Guessing thats his ceiling right?

...

And before I hit send I decided to do some googling and it looks like they are from similar area and worked out together this offseason.

I think Harris is more like 6'4"....and Kispert is around 6'6". I think Kispert is a better athlete.

What I love about Kispert is his catch and shoot ability. (And he's really tough and fiery) His catch and shoot reminds me of Klay.

Can't have enough shooters imo

Would Gonzaga trade him for Poole straight up before the Tourney? They can have Evans too.

I still like Cole Anthony & Isiah Stewart a lot. Both look ready to contribute in the next level right away.

Is Stewart even a lottery pick? He just seems like a motor guy to me.

I haven't been impressed with Anthony or Toppin, I don't know why their considered top 5 picks. Jaden McDaniels looks nice tho, just needs to put on some weight.

We really need a top 4 pick, this draft is awful.

The 6 players who I think look good so far:
Isaac Okoro, Paul Reed, Tyrese Haliburton, Josh Green, Onyeka Okongwu, Killian Hayes.

Thoughts on any of them?

Some of you talked about Obi Toppin a lot and been seeing his draft stock really rise.

I don't understand the Toppin love. He's a good solid player, but it doesn't look like he's great at anything. He seems like a poor man's Tobias Harris to me or maybe a PJ Washington clone.
