Well I'll just say this. Her posting this on Twitter is unfortunately sad for the kids as the family drama is now public. I'm sure they don't need that kind of distraction. I hope this gets resolved legally and privately so this family can move on and we can enjoy the topic that brings us together here, and that's Raptors Basketball.

I have no idea what to make of this story, particularly when taking into account the tweets from Griffin's daughter.

What I do know is for the facts first crowd, it kind of undermines your point when you refer to her as a gold digger.

Also, if, with everything that has gone on in the past several months, you muse about why a black woman would be hesitant to go to the Police, I really don't know what to say to you.

Noone else has yet to allege any misconduct on the part of Mr. Griffin. If other victims come out with similar and unconnected stories, then we can establish a pattern of behavior and act upon it. Until then, let the courts handle it, if she has evidence of his abuse, like she says she does, then allow the courts to proceed. I don't believe in cancelling people based on accusations (from one person) alone. It sets a dangerous precedent.

I actually think on balance the majority of posts are fair and impartial, urging for a legal investigation prior to judgement. The minority voice should not be masqueraded as anything other than what it is.
