NBA refs do not know how to officiate freak athletes. It’s basically a subjective call every time when they go to the rim. Giannis in particular flails his arms around and creates space with his shoulder that no one else in the league does.

also Tatum hasn't shown up yet offensively and the game is still tied

I really like Horford's attitude and play, just makes great decisions and plays with playoff poise

I’m fine with the lvl of traveling the nba usually gives on an extra step or so, but the pivot is almost always called and it is never called on Giannis.

They aren’t relying on refs. You play defense by getting. Yourself in front of the offensive player to defend the basket. Instead of going around, Giannis goes through. He takes big steps and essentially just crashes into you.
