I really like the Lakers' energy to start the season. They usually start the season losing, so this one feels different!

Atlanta suffer the embarrassing stat of being the first team to lose to the Wiz (at home too)

Quality comeback with by the Bulls against a solid team on the road.

Definitely can say The Cavs are the 2nd best team in the East and have the size and wings that can challenge Boston.

Alot of Celtics fans hated that we upgraded him for Jrue :lol:

looks like Smart was a +14 for the game tho. 7 assists, 1 turnover, 2 steals, 2 blocks......i can imagine the defense force for him if he was still here

The Spurs are missing an enforcer for Wemby. Against teams like the Rockets who are physical for 48 minutes, he seems to not like being around the basket. Sochan is not there yet and is too good to be that. They need a Montrez Harrell type.

Ohh you know if the Lakers have a good record this season that JJ is getting COTY (and may very well deserve it) and the media will be hyping them as a championship.

But really with a clearly weakening DEN and arguably a better style matchup with MIN's lack of double bigmen, there's a pathway now for them to get to the Finals and don't tell me Silver won't give some of the refs a few winks to make a LAL/BOS Finals happen. We all know how the NBA loves to milk the this historic beef, not to mention LeBron's obvious starpower.

Giannis is an all-time great and future HOFer but I'm not sure there is a current player who benefited more from a ring than he did.

Like take out that 2021 year and the Giannis Bucks era includes just one conference finals and 4 first round exits in 7 years including a notable first round loss as a 1 seed. And this year is not tracking to be any better and probably another first round exit. Obviously you can't actually take his title year out and he was incredible that year but that 2021 postseason is working wonders for his legacy.

Probably lol we're not jaded, we know the only way we're gonna have any chance to be a truly competitive team and not just another treadmiller is to add another talent comparable to Barnes (or better) and the draft is the most obvious way to have that opportunity.
