Seems like the Bucks are trying to drive up the price to see if they get any better offers. Didn't know that Hammond had it in him. 8-)

That's what you get for underestimating him. ;)

Seriously, though, it's pretty clear to me that Hammond is working to gain leverage. Looks like he's starting to get plenty of it too. Now we need to see what deal he takes or if someone (::coughUtahcough::) comes in with something even better.

According to a few reports, it's sounding like the Rockets are interested in trading their No. 14 and No. 23 pick to get into the top 10.

From Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports: "Houston continues to offer the 14th and 23rd picks in the draft to move into the top 10, and could have a willing partner with the Detroit Pistons at No. 8. The Pistons have told teams they won?t trade down until they see who drops to them on draft night, sources said."

Jonathan Givony of Draft Express adds this: "I'm told that if the prospect Milwaukee covets (I suspect Jonas Valanciunas) isn't available at 10, they will trade the pick to Houston for 14 and 23."
Shoot, Move, and Communicate...

I've noticed you mention Utah a few times, if something ends up happening with them then you are a genius. If we panic them into giving up more then Hammond is a genius too.

Hammond......europa.....putting two and two together.....mind=blown :D

I'm not sure what the potential Utah deal was you posted, but I would have no problem moving Ersan if we're getting back Millsap somehow. He would be a perfect fit at PF next to Bogut and would be a bad ass frontline between the two of them.

Can we just acknowledge that Europa is someone in the Bucks organization?

I like to imagine Europa running around the Bucks front office with a box, hiding under it when people walk by him, Metal Gear style.

Hey guys I know you all have found out the possible rockets trade but that is only half of it when I have been digging around. Chad Ford is reporting the following...

Sounds like the Bucks are also very open to moving down a few spots in the draft. Both the Rockets (Nos. 14 and 23) and the Pacers (No. 15 and Brandon Rush) appear to be possibilities.

Wow Hammond is trying to make the moves!!! 8-)
God is good.

Anybody watch the mock draft on espn at 630 cst today? That blazers guy that i think use to be their gm made the only trade in the top ten, moving up one spot for us to draft Vesley. I wonder if he knows we like him a lot. I haven't heard anything about him connected to us.

I'd be happy to swap Ersan for Rush. But I still want to draft a SG in the first round if it's BPA.

I like Nikola Mirotic better than Vesely. He's a guy I would strongly consider at 24 if the trade with the Rockets goes down.

Who would you rather have after thursday night?

1.) Brooks and Miotic (Trade w/ Rockets)
2.) Rush and Brooks (Trade with Pacers)
3.) Jonas Valuncias (No Trade at all)
God is good.

4.) none of the above
Trade S. Jackson soon. NJ seems like a nice place for him.

I'd go with #3 but I'm also terrified of Valanciunas becoming a Lithuanian Dan Gadzuric. Still really like him though.

Rumors that Tony Parker is being shopped for a lottery pick.

I swear if this is us. . .

From your list, I'd select choice 3. If you like Rush, I think we can get him straight up for Ersan. If I do the Rockets trade, I make pretty darn sure either Burks or Klay Thompson is going to be there for me. Lastly, I like the Knicks possibility and the Jazz possibility if Jimmer is there too.
