I doubt we hear anything this week. They may still be interviewing up in Michigan and probably will spend the weekend making a final decision.

I wouldn't mind Devin Harris if Utah is willing to give Jameer a long-term contract....but why would we want Raja Bell? He's WAY past his prime. I'd rather we pick up Liggins for another year than Bell.

Assuming Jameer wants to sign in Utah:

Jameer/JRich for Devin Harris? We'd prolly have to throw in future pick

The future pick may be a bit much, but I agree with this. Harris is a carbon copy of Jameer offensively, but adds size. More importantly, his contract expires in 2013.

After I thought about it, I removed the Raja trade. Just trying to make a deal to use our TPE before it expires, for a player who also expires 2013.

We need that draft pick to trade hedo... and maybe a future one too (if Dwight's sticking around). No need in giving up draft picks if Dwight's leaving.

From now on, actual #25 on the Magic won't be referred to as a person, but as "The Duhon" since there is no other NBA player as bad as him, "The Duhon" is the way to define him

He's CD, or "Seedy," to his friends.

This is just my line of thought, but we all heard about how the GMs were asked to propose their Dwight scenarios, I'm sure the FO (alex) was smart enough to ask them what they would do with Jameer. As is, offer him a longer deal, let him go, try to coerce him to take 1 more year.

Jameer Nelson confirms he will decline his $8 million dollar player option with the Magic and will become a free agent.

Well, as of right now our options are:
1) Starting Ish
2) Killing cap space by resigning Jameer
3) Getting a solid pg willing to sign for 1 year (hahaha)

Those options aren't very appealing to me.

I we have to go into rebuild mode anyway, I would start Ish.
