Okafor and Nene only have one chi that they have to share. So when Okafor advances, Nene must recede.
Always remember, my friend: the world will change again. And you may have to come back through everywhere you've been.

Anyone notice that on the Kings' last possession, our brilliant head coach put in Temple as a defensive stopper, who proceeded to not only get beat by Thomas into the lane for the winning runner, but he let the left-handed Thomas go to his left and beat him. Where are our defensive assistants to remind Temple that he should force his guy to his weaker, right hand?????

Dude, f-off. Beal is hurt. I don't know what you expect the kid to do with a banged up shooting wrist. He should be sitting or coming off the bench..

If hes hurt dont play him and vesely provided nothing. Dont tell me to **** myself. What a **** move ballboy. Seriously.

I think Crawford should handle most of the 2nd string ball handling duties, not AJ Price

It was like watching another team tonight.

Defense was terrible.
No 3 ball at all.

Way to many players didn't show up. If you have both your SG with off night along with Nene and Price not able to score... even Okafor going to 23 pts isn't going to help.

It became clear in the 2nd quarter that they needed to put defense first and foremost. To me, that meant putting Trevor A in. But Webster was hot so do you go offense or defense. They needed defense. But Beal and Crawford brought nothing tonight so I felt moving Webster to SG was the answer.

Randy eventually did it, but way to late. They let them stick around way to long.

lol

I don't know the Xs and Os my friend. I can only spot the obvious.

Another thing I wanted to see on that final play where Nene blow it. I wanted to see them clear out to the corners and let Wall go one on one.

Nene was pure suck tonight. Why would you put the ball in his hands like that for the final play.

I don't feel they do the clear out for Wall enough. It basic 101 mismatch. I know its not as sexy of some of those NBA offenses but.... Wall can blow by almost anyone on a one on one. They do it to end the half. Why not do it during the game sometimes. And why not to end this game ?

Instead they feed Nene and he turned it over. For the teams 20th turnover. Nene's 6th of the game.

Sorry, I'm not designing a play where the ball goes to someone who has 5 turnovers in a game if I want to win that game. Not sure you have to be an NBA coach to figure that out.

Wall should have had the ball driving like IT had it to win the game.

That dude is lightening fast. Wow

What was more amazing to me was... how do you let a 32 year old bench player go off from 3 land like that and not make a defensive adjustment to stop him. Francisco Garcia is not supposed to be single handily keep his team in the game. You shut that down ASAP. He was just torching them. That gave them life. Keep them in the game.

You can't let a team like that stay close. They were on a 4 game losing stretch. You have to put them away by halftime. Fight off one more surge and then put them away for good and cost.

You do them like we did Minny.

Does Nene have a 4 inch vertical?

I think that would be generous right now.

He needs to lose some weight.

If that had been Seraphin rather than Nene, that ball wouldn't have ended up a turnover. If you never pass anyway, it doesn't matter if your teammates fail to get open. KS hook for the win.

Hard to argue with that logic.

Or a Wall drive. Make them stop our lightening fast player. More likely he finishes, get the call or dishes to the corner to an open playing.

Or you pick and roll with Nene like when we beat Miami.

I don't know what Randy was thinking. Give it to the guy with 5 turnovers and let him go one on one

That's one of Whittman's fetal flaws.. He's slow to react to the obvious.. Being stubborn is ok sometimes, but gambling on Nene suddenly pulling it out, after his game of garbage, was asking a little much..

I just don't understand what Wittman is doing. I would blame individuals for this loss, but it all goes back to Wittman.

1. He consistently this season has failed to get players back in quickly enough when they start well. Why did it take so long to get Okafor and Webster back in during the 2nd and 4th quarters?

2. He refuses to give Beal and Crawford any minutes together. The result it one of these guys plays poorly, or they both do like they did tonight cause they don't get the shots to get in a rhythm.

3. He's trying to keep everyone happy. Too many guys need to get their shots & minutes on this team. He needs to tighten the rotation and play the players who are performing. Okafor was +19 tonight!!! Why didn't he play 38-40 minutes?

4. He leans on Nene to heavily. When Nene doesn't have it, he has to stop force feeding him

5. Lastly,, not as big of a deal but where's Vesely? He played well in his meaningful minutes versus the Wolves and he hasn't seen any court since? Why?

6. Offensively, where was the high pick & roll? That's their best offensive set, with Wall starting near the halfcourt corners and gaining his momentum as he goes around picks. The floor is spread open and he uses that set to either get to the hoop or create an open shot from the corner.

One roster point, a game like tonight emphasizes the need for a STRETCH 4. The halfcourt offense was stagnant based on the sets Wittman was calling. A stretch 4 would have opened it up a bit.

Nene is also much better off the other block. Just a bad play call by Randy
