They should have never gotten to the point where they tied it though. Either way, the Raptors didn't break. They gave up the lead, but managed to still win in the end. Onto the next one.

Teams making runs is cool. We almost tied it back in game 3 but we just came out flat. No defense, no sense of urgency. There is a good reason why this young team shouldn't blow out teams because they just can't handle big leads.

RAPTORS need to work on dealing with high press D and half court traps. They didn't know what to do. Perhaps they should try using Novak to burn them for doing it...
Prediction
Spurs in 7. Parker MVP. Lebron 6-17fg, 18pt, 8reb, 5 asst in game 7 LOSS.

This. Whose **** idea was it to inbound the ball(with a 40 foot pass no less) into our end with 1 second left? If you really have to throw it in and there are no open Raptors you are better off turning it over closer to the other end. Or just take the 5 second violation, Brooklyn was out of timeouts, they wouldn't have enough time to advance the ball. Just unbelievably stupid.

I find it kind of sad that my superstition for this game involves me being a jinx and I should try to avoid the Raptors during game time :(

Also anyone find it crazy that for all 5 games, if not 4, the spread was covered? Refs doing work. :o

...well, the spread will usually be covered by one side. There aren't that many pushes, especially with half points. The trick is picking the right side.
9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.

I think this shows how vastly improved we are as a team compared to the older iterations of this team. I'm still not used to us winning close games/comebacks, and I'm still haunted by VC's, Linsanity's, Jamal's, etc. stealing a game from us via last shot throughout the years.

ROFL that's awesome.

I've always thought that instead of people waving arms/sticks randomly, the whole section should sway back and forth in unison to throw the shooter off.

What if the the building goes dead silent and explodes as the player is in the act of shooting

There's apparently research out there that says that you have to do completely focusing bizzare crap to actually throw a player off, like everyone starts bawking like a chicken.

Casey let the team play offense-first this game, but i'm pretty sure the way we played in the 4th means he's gonna make sure we focus on defence first and get our buckets in transition.

Its so much better seeing the score close, playing a video game and then seeing the team you root for win. Screw the suspense, the feeling of relief is great.

This was the best moving forward tbh. Raptors got complacent and overconfident, we managed to squeeze a win and ground the team. But I think more important to that, I'm hoping Casey gets his head out of the behind so this doesn't happen again. Can't give him the benefit of the doubt on that one though.

people get so caught up about this comparison... the raptors have slowly been getting better as the series has progressed... theyve slowly improved their play and slowly have increased their outright domination this series... i thought this game was gonna be the one where they blow them out and it ALMOST was until the end... all this means, is that next game THEYRE GONNA COME OUT STRONGER and learn from this and not let it happen again. RAPS BLOW OUT BROOKLYN IN GAME 6! SEND A MESSAGE TO THE HEAT!

Why no fields? He knows his place on offense, good ball-movement. Steals. Cuts baseline. Would have done much better than salmons -_-
