Red Larrivee wrote:-Chris Bosh is the real hold up in the free agency market. Houston is strongly courting Bosh and would love to sign him to a max contract. Houston has Bosh as their 1A to Carmelo (who they aren't out on yet), but if LeBron leaves Miami, Houston wants to be at the front of the line in the Bosh sweepstakes.
-If Bosh leaves Miami, it could open the door for Carmelo to play for LeBron in South Beach. Above all other scenarios that involve him leaving New York, Carmelo would love the chance to play with LeBron in Miami. Miami would have enough to re-sign LeBron and Wade, and bring in Carmelo (presumably on pay cuts).
-Reiterated that Wade isn't going anywhere.
-Carmelo was "blown away" by the Lakers presentation Thursday. The Lakers did some mini-movie package done by the producer of the Matrix and Tobey Maguire narrated it. The acting and lights part of the Lakers appeals to Melo a lot because of the stage and his wife who wants to be a big actress (lol). Playing with LeBron would still mean more than the teams who've gone after him.
-On Kevin Love, Flip Saunders is flexing his muscles a little bit. Nobody knows for sure if he's going to get traded, but Flip wants to make a good impression to ownership and isn't going to trade Love for scraps.
