It's not gonna work to have him try to break down a defense, but he can work as floor spacer which is what we really need on the wing after Zach and Otto.

He was slow two years ago and still was pretty good.

No he was not. He has always been overrated and a defensive sieve.

at absolute best he's a sniper as the 7th or 8th man. at best. the playmaking is just a myth and he's awful defensively because he's so limited athletically.

I'll go ahead and make a sig bet that Mikal is better by RPM this year than Zach.

Kris Dunn is in fact the key. The key for him is to sit on the bench and we'll be better.

I know it's preseason but this looks like a poorly coached team in all facets of the game. Offensively, defensively. Everybody looks lost on both ends.

Not correct. He was a good shooter, ball handler and passer and actually not a bad defender despite his slowness.

Man give Simons a year or two in the G-League to work on his shooting, and I definitely think he can be a player in this league. His defense and energy is so good already.

Give me more Simon next game. I like the cut of his jib.

Rookies looked good tonight, thats the takeaway. Nothing else really matters. Great debuts for both White and Gafford. Onto the next one on Wednesday!

Neither Sato, Dunn or White showed me anything to be confident about in a STARTING PG. We really need size too. I think it was a mistake to not bring Lopez back. I'd rather have him over Thad right now tbh.

First game. I think Coby can be the PG but sato will be. Dunn will have his nights coming off the bench.

They outshot us by 10 percentage points and outrebounded us by 16. We made a lot fewer turnovers, but it's hard to overcome bad shooting, weak defense, and getting pounded on the boards.

Great game. Nobody got hurt and the younger players did well. Bucks are a machine folks. They will win 58+ again, easily. Bulls showed some good signs. White looks to be a player, he has more body control than Dunn you can tell that.

I thought Santo was solid. That's what he does. Needs to shoot when open tho. Obviously he wasn't going full speed like most of the guys but you can see why he's RAPM good.

Gafford looks lively. Get healthy Kornet and WC.

Bucks turned it over 24 times to the Bulls 11. You have to get crushed on the boards to lose a game like that by double digits.... oh, and out shot.

The thing that worries me about this Bulls team is the same thing that has worried me for the last 4 seasons. No identity. They have no defensive presence and they just don't move the ball on offense well enough to get open looks. A lot of it is just poor coaching.

I was actually encouraged by Val's play. He basically came into the league with the game of 38 year old Grant Hill. He was slow as molasses as a rookie, so seeing him play half-a-gear slower than everyone else didn't surprise me.

But even with those drawbacks, Val was a productive player his second year in the league. His game's all about timing and skill, and honestly I thought those looked pretty good tonight. He was around the ball in his usual ways.

I am really encouraged about what I saw from the rookies. The raw numbers they put up are sort of irrelevant. To me its how they played and where their strength will ultimately be this season.

I love Cobys confidence on both ends. And I love that he attacks trying to get to the line. That is going to be big for his career.
DG is going to be a fan favorite for sure. He is going to be doing a lot of dunking and blocks this year.

Both seem they will be contributors right away.

Its going to be interesting with the rotations this year. Boylen can go in so many different directions.

Bucks are a machine but we just lost to their B and C team for the most part and looked bad doing it.

He hit 2 early shots and bricked away. The play where he missed 3 shots in a row on the same time down on the court. I read all this praise. He was awful on defense and had one assist. He is so look overrated by some people here.

Not really but you are entitled to your opinion.
