Whitmore does give off Miles vibes. Need to see more from him though, he only has 8 assists through 11 games. Seems to be focused on himself a lot once he gets the ball. Will be a guy that I need to see come tourney time to see if he has progressed, to be considered worth a top 5 pick.

Might be more of a 3/4 which is concerning based on his size.

Some things about Whitmore from his last game.

3pt shot continues to look nice.

He looked like he was in a bit better shape and had more bounce in his step than in the couple games I watched right after he returned from injury. He still looks like hes got a bit of the Miles athletic profile thing going where his strength and vertical pop are a bit better than his first step / quickness, but hes still overall very good physically. He might have smaller hands than youd like, not sure though.

He had a couple shots at the rim that he seemed like he should have been able to finish, but didn't. I'm curious about how well he can finish in a crowd when he can't just dunk over people. His overall fg% is good and I didn't notice any issue in previous games, so it might not be anything to worry about.

He had a couple nice passes and he looks like hes trying to do better with playmaking, but it still doesn't look natural and he seems to have to think about things too much still. He did manage to get 2 assists though, which is something at least.

I really zeroed in on his defense this game and he showed a lot of things to feel good about. Hes been getting a ton of steals lately. had 4 steals and a block in this game. He occasionally gets caught ball watching and sometimes seems like he has to think too much, sort of like with the playmaking, but he is really impressive at fighting through screens and denying passing lanes. They didn't seem too interested in attacking his on ball defense, but when they did I didn't see any issue there, although he did get scored on a couple times.

I think the big thing to figure out for him if you are a team scout is to determine how coach-able he is. He clearly has some areas he needs to improve and some flaws that will need ironed out, but the basis of a very good NBA wing is there and he seems like he should be a good pick as long as he has the intangibles. You get the impression watching him play that he is still trying to figure out how to utilize his abilities, but the tools are there. So far I get the impression that he is coach-able. Villanova's coach is very quick to pull him from games if he makes a big execution mistake, but they always give him immediate instruction on the bench and get him back into the game quickly after hes had a minute or two to think. So far he seems to be responding well.

Underrated part of having the Nuggets pick?

UNCNY doesn't have to try and convince us to take a 2nd rounder 3rd overall. We can just get him at 28 instead haha

Lmaoooo, you are so right this year. The three players I have in place most for those picks this year are

*Nikola Durisic, Amari Bailey, *Jalen Wilson, *Azuolas Tubelis,

if one of them were to fall there...

It sucks that I have to use our first rounder on an actual projected pick lmaoooooooooo

Anthony Black with 15/8/7/2/1 on 4-9/1-3/6-6 shooting and fantastic defense.

Heres a good midseason highlight video.

Late night game tonight Pepperdine VS St Mary's - ESPNU - 11:00 - ( Max Lewis VS Aidan Mahaney )

Also there has been a lot of buzz on Grant Nelson lately. I would consider him 2nd round.

Dood. Wow.

I remember him from his nick name from the video called PRAYING MANTIS they did on him. I didn't post him because unlike years past I like sooo many players this year and decided to stick to SENIORS.

But don't worry if he turns out great he is YOUR FIND for this board. I want zero to do with anyone else's suggested drafted player lol.

I have not posted many if any players for the next years draft because I got tired of scouting HIGH SCHOOL players. The reason why is the footage is often not of games but high lights. I like GAME FOOTAGE. There are two things I kinda gave up

1. Scouting high school players

2. Scouting G league players

The reason why I gave up G league is because it's hard to Gauge them. You are dealing with a league without organization PLAY RUNNING WISE and everyone just trying to score HIGH.

Maybe I will go back to it but it's much easier to scout EURO and COLLEGE players

Have to give Fats credit for this'n. Crazy fluid and great athleticism (highlights, I know), but negative wingspan which you hate to see (even though his standing reach is 8’9.75") - NBADraft has him comp'ed as a supersized Mike Dunleavy Jr which I can kinda see.

Dunleavy Jr, that's a name from the past he's a player that would thrive in today's style. He got a bit lost in the iso heavy grunge ball from his Era.

My All Time Before Their Time Stretch 4/5 Team

Cliff Robinson - he's my #1 pick of guys that would be perfect today. Great 3pt shooter, great defender from 3 to 5, great weak side help defender. You could plug him into any modern lineup.
Donyell Marshall
Sam Perkins
Detlef Shrempf
Ralph Sampson - the original Wembanyama

I LOVED this profile of player in the 80s and 90s.

Wathing the

Houston VS Temple - ESPN - ( Jarice Walker VS Damion Dunn )

game. The game is at half now. I recently found out about Dunn and like his game...

I might watch the Furman VS Watford game on ESPNU after. I am curious about JACKSON PAVELETZKE.

I already like Bothwel and Slawson from Furman
