**** the Heat indeed lol. And for what it’s worth, a special eat **** to the media. The Milwaukee slander for the sake of Pat Riley’s ignorance and arrogance is astounding. All that greaseball had to do was make a competitive offer and this could’ve been over 2 months ago. But nope, he really thought he’d just play puppet master and things would magically work out for him like they have in the past. Couldn’t be happier that Riley, the franchise and the national media are all looking like morons crying that they can’t believe things didn’t work out the way they wanted. Gotta love it.

But the fit makes the Bucks much more dangerous in the post season. Who is the Bucks leading scorer? Who gets the ball for a last minute game winner?

The key will be how Lillard impacts the defense. Giannis and Lopez can secure the rim, but Lillard exposes the Bucks on the perimeter. Who will guard star back court players? Do the Bucks have a smaller PJ Tucker type who can guard PGs and SGs? because Lillard can't. Hard to believe that a championship level starter will emerge from the minimum vet acquisitions or 2nd round picks they added in the last few months.

Finally, props to Horst for never giving up and for ownership for spending big for what is likely a two year window.

The Bucks most definitely did not give up more than they received. They landed a top 10 player without giving up one. You win the trade if you get the best player in the deal. They got the best player in the deal.

There was that Lillard tweet where he called Heat fans casuals and shouted out to the Bucks and Blazers.

Middleton (pre-extension) + Jrue wasn't enough for Dame was the majority opinion on this board for a while.

And it can't be said enough: We didn't give Portland their 2nd back. We kept MarJon. We kept Pat. We kept Bobby.

Nekias just tweeted, Bucks better run spain with Dame+Khris+Giannis or he will walk to Milwaukee. I'm thoroughly excited for the season.

How can you even stomach these clowns? A NBA podcast panel trying to make the Milwaukee Bucks sound like the NBAs version of the Cleveland Browns like we aren’t perennial contenders and 2021 Champs with a top 2 player in the entire league. Is this show based in Miami or something? The bias is so bad.

I skip a lot of the Miami stuff because it really is insufferable. But all of it makes today's news that much sweeter.

Jrue was honestly an underrated asset in this. If the Blazers were going to be forced to take a player they didn't need, they at least needed that player to be easily flippable and still return some good assets. Jrue should fit that bill perfectly and MUCH better than Herro who's value seems to be around 1 middling first round pick.

Because Miami tried to sleaze its way for Dame, this was my goto when the trade broke. LeBatard said the Heat got lucky upsetting the Bucks last year.

Jrue is a perfect trade asset. He's a good contract but isn't signed for a long term. He fits on any roster as a helper for young guys or a championship level piece for a contender.

I mean, hell, he just landed the Bucks Dame Lillard.

Call me crazy, but I think that someday we're going to look at that period of around 2018-2028 as a really great time to have been a Bucks fan.

OK this is wild. I have to admit that I wasn’t high trading for Dame. But I never thought it would only take a FRP to turn Jrue into Lillard. Horst is a god.

That’s also amazing news for Pat/Bobby/Marjon etc. Their confidence should hit the sky with Bucks refusing to involve them in a Dame trade.

Thanks Jrue. You brought us a championship. You brought as Lillard. Legend. Honest question. Is it legal to trade for Jrue next offseason?
