You wouldn't have if you'd seen him play.

I’d be shocked if Robin even sniffs the regular season rotation. Bobby will get all those minutes. Agreed that Robin is trash, but frankly I’m shocked that anyone sees Robin as anything more than Thanasis’s bench buddy.

We're down to 2 preseason games, while installing a completely new system, and Bobby has yet to play a second of center. I'm shocked anyone sees Robin as anything more than Thanasis's bench buddy, but unfortunately, Griffin does.

Bobby played about 80% of his minutes last year with either Brook or Giannis. In those minutes, he is playing the 4. It makes sense he's getting his preseason minutes at the position he's going to be primarily playing.

I was just looking at those, Khris is going to feast. Also the Lakers had Wood and Prince on the floor at the time so not an ounce of defensive bbiq between the two of them lol.

Obviously its championship or bust for this team, which may or may not be fair, but I'm still going to enjoy the hell out of this regular season, more so than the last couple years, post title. Dame and Giannis just isn't fair. Rightfully so, the "perfect compliments" tag was a common theme in print and with the talking heads. They've only had a handful of practices together but you can already see it. Scary for the rest of the league. I actually thought Malik Beasley looked good. Active defensively, crashing the offensive glass, high motor for all of his minutes. Had a couple WTF moments and bad misses but so did a lot of guys. I'll happily take that kind of production from our 5th starter, if Beas ends up being the guy. This is already super fun.

Have to give you guys credit. Even I wouldn't have come up with "Jeff Lamp". Had to make sure you were talking about THE Jeff Lamp and not a newer, younger one.

The biggest change I see schematically from last year is the cut Brook makes. You can see how much attention AD has to give Brook on the opposite block. If AD doubles, there's a dump off to Brook, or good luck keeping Brook off the offensive glass. Most importantly, if there is a double with rotation, it's much harder to guard the perimeter 2 vs 3 rather than 3 vs 4. Check that, they'll be playing 1 vs 2 because no one is leaving Dame. And 1 of those 2 will be Middleton. :o

I love this adjustment and it will be interesting to see which poison opposing teams decide to swallow this year.

Most encouraging play I saw was the horns set where Dame set a backscreen for Giannis. He was WIDE open and got the easiest dunk of his career.

The next progression is dame setting the screen, then taking a dribble hand off from Brook (who will presumably roll to the basket). That could very well be our bread and butter set.

I liked seeing Giannis play a real post and use them Hakeem step through moves.

Rolo will be fine with Dolla Dimes or even Payne

Interesting perspective from someone who the board(myself included) ripped on last night

So many hating on Rolo, and yea he sucks, but he'll play when Brook/Bobby can't and will do just fine in limited minutes. Who else would we use? He looked no worse than Cousins or Leonard last year.

Yea I think as a 3rd string Center he's fine. The issue is if Griff plays him as the true backup C to Brook. Robin shouldn't be an every night guy but rather an injury fill in

If we don't win the championship this year it won't be because of RoLo.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Yeah, I think the board collectively is a little worried about AG playing the "wrong" guys since we don't know anything about him.

Without looking I think he went to Virginia and wore #3 as a Buck.

Edit: 2 for 2. I have no idea how.

I wouldn't say "collectively". I think quite a few are giving AG the benefit of doubt. We just aren't as "vocal" about it. :-?

Wonder if Ham coached Wood to basically have his hands on top of his knees when he's dropping here. Doesn't bother contesting Payne's floater in any way. Maybe he was making a really mean face.
