Is this the beautiful euro game we've been hearing about?

I do not see it that way at all. France is bigger and stronger. Rudy Gobert is living in the paint.

We were up 12’ish and Tatum missed 3/4 iso shots and went back to the other end and still got stops. Maybe not 23 but the lead would be big
It is only five points at half

It's the switching. We've actually been really good at forcing turnovers and limiting interior shots against guards when they get switched off up to this point -- Spain basically gave up going inside after the first quarter -- but France is doing a good job being patient and taking advantage. Otherwise it's not like they're just dumping the ball down to him on the block. We need to be a lot more aware on the perimeter to dig down and help.

Perhaps I am just pessimistic but I have a bad feeling about this game.

We need less tatum and more Booker. Tatum is really good when he’s catching off cuts or shooting spot up from the wing or corner. When he’s shooting iso shots he’s killing us

Booker hasn’t hit a shot, Tatum is 5-9 and much better defensively. If you want them to win, more Tatum and less Booker. He’s the only guy besides KD who can go isolation and score, and he’s hit 5 of his 8 isolation looks, one of his misses was catch and shoot.

I think you're probably right but the longer this game stays close the more worried I'm going to get

life_saver wrote:This is like the first FIBA match I have ever watched....I like that there aren't 7 timeouts...that's one thing which I don't like in NBA...just way too many timeouts and breaks

It should be just be one timeout per team per quarter and maybe two each in the final quarter. It would make the game flow so much better but I suggest it’s probably linked to TV rights unfortunately.

FIBA timeouts are much shorter for starters, I told many times that NBA fans who only watch NBA doesnt know how bad they have it these days, stoppage and timeout length is unbearable.

He's probably been our most disappointing player this cycle. Tatum's not far behind, but at least he's had some moments. Lillard has basically been nonexistent.

Tatum has been really good...he's completely different player when he's not settling for those stupid stepbacks every possession. I understand attacking this hard all 82 is physically tough but the Cs need that in their big games and in the playoffs.

Ya it’s weird I’m watching the game and it seemed like KD and Tatum are the two who are actually making buckets. I come on here, if I wasn’t watching the game I would think Tatum has been the worst player on the court or something.

Is Mcgee just unplayable? I would think he could get a few minutes with Gobert on the floor.

Tatum has been good tonight. What we need less of is Lillard. I still will trust Dame in the 4th though.
