Yeah, I agree...there are so many things that could be changed for the better.

Bam and Giannis have the same agent so could be in play. But also could just be Bam saying pay me now.

The Heat have always worked well with players on laying out why they'd like for them to wait, etc. I am guessing they know Giannis will sign, especially if they have the same agent.

But of course any player can be petrified of injury. Look at Cousins...he was up for a huge deal and tore his achilles...of course I doubt a max extension was ever on the table.
Have the Heat ever had a guy wait on a rookie extension?

Honestly the only time I can think of where a team definitely waited was the Kawhi Leonard situation. Other teams have not extended guys early but it's usually because it wasn't some no brainier max at the time. (Ingram last year is an example)

I wasn't so much talking about that, but just having guys wait or take a 1 year deal now, etc and they will be rewarded later or something. Seems like they did something with Wade at one point...and they overpaid Dragic and someone else so they would take a team option in year 2, etc.

Adebayo and Giannis are not even a good fit.

Adebayo is revered because he plays like Draymond Green but a 6'9 version... So he a is playmaking center. Giannis is hybrid Forward in a Centers body... So he handles the ball and plays off shooters around him... The same role that Adebayo does.

Sure they can play together... It's a 5 man sport... But having both earning 80 million a year of your salary cap means you field the team with chumps or old veteran shooters on their last legs.

Yeah they definitely take care of their guys like Goran. That wade situation was odd because I think he opted out but then lost some money and ended up leaving. I'd have to go back and look at all the moving parts but I remember that being a weird deal.

One interesting tidbit if Miami doesn't actually end up a space team chasing max guys next summer is they reportedly had a deal in place for Gallo at the deadline but wanted him to extend for a year and Gallo wanted two years and the heat walked away not wanting to cut into 21 space. I'm not saying they beat LA with Gallo but definitely a 'what if moment'.

It's pretty much certain that 95% of Twitter comments are moronic and cancerous to mental health... To be fair to McD he's just trying to fit in.

Kelly and Ricky just trying to muster up some motivation for when they play us. Lol.
Kelly was scared out his mind of living in Oklahoma. Lol
They are only making it easier to not regret the trade.

Sounds like they’re in for a treat when we face them

McD is coming across like a GF who can't let her ex go. He needs to stop obsessing about the Suns already. Let it go. Didnt he make millions while working here? To do what? Make crappy draft picks and worse trade deals. Sarver was a terrible owner and I hope he sells the team to pretty much anyone else who can actually afford to own an nba team, but McD is the one who made a number of stupid moves that we are just now starting to recover from.

McDunce Cap is coming off as a child
Jones has built in two years what he took many years to really destroy. His draft picks, save Booker are a bust. Well Len is now a serviceable back up. Chriss, Bender, Goodwin, Jackson -- are not good. Cam Johnson - looks pretty good

Not to mention the Ariza and Chandler debacle signings

yes, we knwo Sarver is a Sarver - but Ryan, shut it up

At this point, i'd like to hear a lil' somethin' on our offensive sets going forward. There has to be a good amount of adjustments with Paul running the point. Will we roll more traditional lineups, or something like PG-SG-3wings... I'd like to see us run as much as we can (as few picks as possible, 5 out, constant off-ball movement and cuts for days) but with grandpa Paul i can't actually see it happening.
