Trade #149:
Memphis incoming:
Ray Allen - 2012 = 10,000,000

LA Clippers incoming:
Jason Richardson - 2012 = 5,395,000, 2013 = 5,799,625, 2014 = 6,204,250, 2015 = 6,601,125(player option)
Raymond Felton - 2012 = 7,560,000

Memphis does this deal to shed Richardson's contract, it's not a bad deal it's just way too long for a 31 year old, all it cost us was Raymond Felton a player who wasn't in our future plans anyway. This deal sets Memphis up for a complete rebuild, especially with the 6 draft picks we have this year.

Blockbuster Alert: Houston and Charlotte have reached agreement:

Trade #150
Houston outgoing:
Josh Davis ($854,389)
2 million Cash
Washington '12 2nd

Charlotte outgoing:
A.J. Price (854,389)

Salary is identical so it works. Charlotte was informed that the Washington 2nd looks like it is top 55 protected.

Houston accepts as we feel Price was our missing link, and we didn't still don't know who Josh Davis is.

Absolutely ridiculous. I waive Roger Mason. Happy? Now I'm at a 14 player roster.

Charlotte accepts.
We feel Josh David can become the next Blake Griffin.

Trade number 151:
Memphis incoming: 1 mil cash

Miami incoming: DET 2012 2nd round pick which would change to NYK's 2012 2nd if New York's pick is 31-55.

Memphis does this trade because we feel that we won't have enough roster spots next year with this 2nd round pick. A little cash never hurts either

MIA accepts. We do this because of salary issues in the following offseason. A 2nd rnd pick only counts $473,604 on our salary, a vet min $854,389

As I said before, I'm only targetting 2 specific players in this draft and I already have 2-3 picks. So getting needed cash for my second is fair to me.

this deal should have been posted a few days ago, but I forgot.

I will make it #141 to replace the canceled CHI/DAL trade

#141
NY trades
"future considerations"

Philly trades
LaVoy Allen $473,604

LaVoy is my boy, he was needed to complete another deal and ICE was kind enough to send him back, sorry for forgetting to post

LaVoy goes from NYK to Philly. Doesn't even show up on Philly's roster. Then gets traded back to NY for "unspecified considerations", all in a back dated trade no less!

Houston demands an investigation into this, and a full inspection into if LaVoy ever even hopped on the Acela and left NY. :)

Lakers accept.

The way we looked at this deal is that we were giving up a back up center whose going to get no more than 18 MPG if Howard is in foul trouble and one of our extra SG for a starting PF.

lol, its not backdated, i was supposed to post when i traded Price to NJ, but forgot. I juust used the old trade # because that deal was open. But you are currect, he did not take the Acela. He walked to the basement of the Garden and too Amtrack to Trenton where I believe Philly had a limo waiting

not to speak for ICE, but I do believe that is why he was left off the roster since he figured I posted the deal after opening the roster spot

According to Woj's twitter, there is no evidence of any earlier emails. Baring evidence to the contrary, LaVoy should immediately become a free agent, Philly and NYK should be fined/lose draft picks, and Kenneth Starr should be appointed to look into the depth of the cover up.

Also, who takes the train half way and then a limo the other half? Thats more time and less convenience then just sticking with either way. Smells fishy, but we won't comment further until we read Starr's report so not to prejudice the investigation.
