I think Evans is better than Beckham, but having only 6 picks this year combined with how much it would cost to move up to get Evans, it just isn't worth it.

I'm not a Manziel hater by any stretch, but I firmly believe that he got bailed out a lot by Evans this year. I love this dude's hands and strength. It would be amazing to see him and Ertz out on the field at the same time! Talk about HUGE targets. But then again, you guys who said that we'd be giving up wayyy too much are probably right.

I've heard the same on the Evans made Manziel better than what he is. If we had more than 6 picks I'd be fine with giving up whatever to move up into the top 10. We don't though and we have other needs.

Agreed. With the depth at the WR position in this class and our limited amount picks....were better off just taking one at 22, or even waiting and trading up in the 2nd, where the price is likely cheaper and getting someone.

No doubt we have to replace Djax....but its not like were looking to fill Calvin Johnson's shoes, I'm sure we will be able to find a viable weapon to add to the offense.

Benjamin scares me big time. Call me crazy but I don't like WRs who have issues with drops  WRs main jobs are to catch passes right?

Couldn't have said it much better myself. DJax was our best WR but still far from a prototypical #1 in my eyes. Granted, I'd rather have 2 #2 WRs than 1 #2 WR. But he can be replaced, like you said, he isn't Calvin, Larry Fitz, AJ Green, Andre Johnson, etc. Take BPA at 22, if that's a WR that's fine, if it isn't, that's fine too. The depth should be so good that at pick 52 you might get a WR that in most years goes in the 1st round.

I don't get the evans made manziel argument. The nfl is full of receivers who are going to be able to make a play on the deep ball. So are the receivers in the nfl going to make manziel aswell?

There's a shock. Dude is going to be filing for bankruptcy within 3 years of being out of the league (if not while still in it).

It's the reason why he keeps pushing for a new contract just because he wants/needs that signing bonus ASAP And can't wait for seasonal paychecks even if he was making millions that season.

Pretty sure that 'break-in' to his house was insurance fraud.

Yea, its like when you give a kid his first part time job and he instantly spends it and has 0 savings. Desean basically does that but with a boat load of money.

I think we with either draft Cody Latimer or Marqise Lee but if Anthony Barr drops like a few mocks predict he will, I think we go get him.

I have no idea though so just a guess :D

Considering that we have a lot of holes to fill (WR, CB, S, DE/LB), I just hope they take the best player available. All of the best big physical wide receivers that Kelly wants (Watkins, Evans) will be off the board by the time we pick and we won't be able to trade up to get them, so I predict they go defense with their first pick, and take a receiver in the 2nd or 3rd round.

I hope we don't draft Cody Latimer. He seems like a combine hero kind of story. But what do i know lol, I could be wrong. It does worry me though that he got an invite to the draft, while someone like kelvin benjamin didn't.

Barr, ford, Pryor, Benjamin or beckham for me.

I hear that a lot about Benjamin. I guess I wouldn't mind having him just coz of his size paired along with how Chip likes playing multiple TE's. The way I see it is if he flops at WR, with his physical gifts maybe we can convert him into a TE. Also, I salivate on the idea of having the 6'5 Benjamin, 6'4 Ertz, 6'2 Riley and Celek (I'm guessing around 6'4?) during Red Zone situations.
