I can't even imagine what White is going through with his anxiety and fear of flying but I think he could've planned things a lot better before deciding to leave school early and entering the draft. It was almost as if he was expecting the Rockets to cater to his ever need.

He was asking the Rockets to do things that would violate the CBA.
I just think there could have been a little more effort on his part to work with the organization to help him out in a way that wouldn't be too troublesome to the organization.

How did he travel for away games at ISU? You can't tell me they bused to every away game. I don't ever remember hearing about his fear of flying until he got to the NBA.

That was really a great article that you posted. Very well done.

In the context of the Royce White debate, what I think that highlights is that even if you are able to create the right environment for a Royce White or Bison Dele (as the Bull's did) you still are only one event away from it all crumbling apart and the situation turning tragic. Unfortunately there just aren't many examples in pro sports for guys with these type of problems to overcome them and have long and stable careers.

That is ridiculous. Dennis has one good game yet Oladipo dominates game after game in preseason and all of a sudden Schroeder should be in the conversation for ROY. Give me a break. For that matter, Giannis has no chance for ROY either. Oladipo is a lock to get the minutes to win the award IMO and he has the skills. He is basically everything Evan turner was supposed to be.

We're just a knee jerk society. RG3 was god's gift to football last year, 2 weeks ago he was getting trashed, now has a good game and everyone says he's back. Jaws had Kaepernick in the Hall of Fame after Week 1, or before the season. I know those are football examples, but you get my point. Its annoying but how it is unfortunately.
