Lawson is a much better PG than Kemba.
Holiday is a good PG and despite his struggles and injury is not as bad as Kemba. (I used to think he was)
Knight is meh but surprised me with the Bucks earlier this season.
I view PG's as the least valuable position in the NBA due to the fact there are so many of them, I would rather have Kemba and the asset we would need to trade (1st round pick, Zeller, Vonleh etc.) than Lawson. and its relatively easy to find gems at the PG position like Jordan Clarkson, Patrick Beverley, Isaiah Thomas etc.
unless we're getting a surefire all-star PG, its not worth it IMO. would rather use assets to upgrade other positions like SG.

No sarcasm. I would've put sarcasm font in green or loled it off. Hendo was decent at catch and shoot off curl sets but once Kemba became starting PG he stopped doing it because Kemba didn't hit him off the screen so he stopped wasting his energy.
And the SG position is very weak but if you look at it overall you'll see that Hendo is half decent even if he's not a good fit between MKG and Kemba. Somebody has to go. If we had a 3pt shooting PG like Lillard maybe Hendo could excel.

Give me a damn break catch. Henderson needs to go. We need someone at the SG spot, who can actually shoot. I love Henderson off the bench, but Lillard isn't walking through the door. You aren't deceiving me my man

Lillard ain't walking through that door but Cameron Payne might be.

Lol. Just stop the whole sarcasm thing. I liked you better when you damn near wanted to kill me getting on Walker, and I'm not even getting on him that bad anymore. Be yourself.
Liver_Pooty wrote:For those big time Walker fans what do you want? Most of you think Biyombo is the answer at center, MKG is obviously the answer at the 3. Have a ton of Vonleh fans on here so either him or Zeller better be the answer at the 4.
So the answer is to find him a legit 2 guard for Walker to succeed? Good luck. There are only a select few.

This isn't no sarcasm. I'm kinda giving up on Kemba. I wouldn't mind seeing him stick around if we could find a SG to plug between him and MKG but it's been 3-4 years now. I've reached the point of no return that some things ain't gonna change. Hendo (I'm expecting him to opt in), Lance, PJ, and Troy Daniels will be under contract next year. We're not bringing in no SG unless we can get rid of one of the first 3 and that's unlikely. More unlikely than finding something decent in return for Kemba.

Not a big time Kemba fan but I think I can answer this. We need to find a SG that can average about the same as Hendo or more but he has to have a different style of play, and that's the ability to stretch the floor to keep defenses scrambling or honest about shading too much.
Unfortunately there aren't many SGs in the league worth a damn and that's where the problem lies where we'd have to gamble on young SG prospects that haven't broke out yet like Lamb, Jordan Hamilton and such or trade for a proven SG like Kevin Martin that has glaring flaws but provide what we need. I don't trust Cho to do neither. He seem fixated on the safe draw of Arron Afflalo that give decent offense and decent defense but no upside which wouldn't push us over that proverbial ledge of treadmilling.
I don't like Biz as our starting C just yet, or at least not until we find that legit scoring SG or one of Vonleh/Zeller start scoring about 15ppg. That's why I'm cool with Al opting into that one last year as long as Cho make a damn risky move for a SG that has the skill sets and upside we need at the position. But it won't come cheap. OKC prolly want more than people think Lamb is worth but Cho has to be willing to do it for the sake of this disastrous roster he put together piece by piece over the last 4 years.

We've battled about Biz for nearly 2 years too but that don't mean I think he's a necessary staple even tho I want to keep him around. Kemba just happen to be more polarizing so the topics spill over.

I'd rather go after Wesley Matthews and lowball or overpay from other team's standards for him considering he's coming off the achilles injury.
I'm skeptical of Danny Green away from Pop's system.
