I see kyrie ending up in brooklyn but i agree best team in the east easily.

Givony said he got same vibe with Knox as he did with PG13 In pre draft workouts.
i don't see where he is seeing it.
PG13 was pegged as a true swingman. big 2 guard or SF type. Knox is much of a slower plodding SF with the potential to play small ball 4 if he actually learns how to rebound.
But the athleticism/defensive ability in both are huge disparities. Just an idea of PG13 athleticism coming out of school he was pegged that he could defend 1-3...knox really is pegged as someone that can defends 3's and maybe some 4's.
The only comp between there games is both were pretty passive players in college and PG13 did develop a killer instinct over time which I guess Knox can as well. But there actual game and impact on the floor couldn't be anymore different.
He’s talking about how Knox looked so much better than the tape and consensus than they anticipated prior to workouts. Not necessarily play style.
He actually has a little Rip Hamilton to his game to be honest.

Knox would be sweet and much better than a lower upside Mikal. This team needs stars which is why I wouldnt mind moving to #4 either for the right price.

Hopefully these highlights aren't indicative of his skillset, because the only thing I got from that video is that he's a good athlete. Aside from that, he doesn't come close to what Luka could do at that age.
lol the vid clearly showed he can defend anyone with that 7'2 wingspan and is a damn good scorer....not sure what you watched.
the knicks are gonna be terrible next year. i rather us get mikal and nas next year insteead of just getting doncic alone. and also keeping frank in the process. giving up the farm for doncic is not worth it. yall actin like doncic is bust proof too. nobody is safe in this draft.
Yeah I got that he's got the tools to be a good defensive player (but locking down a few high-schoolers doesn't guarantee anything). But in this particular video, there wasn't much to suggest that he's a 'damn good scorer'. At least for me.

Melo was a star.

This narrative that the Knicks tried to win until the bitter end needs to stop.
So they didn't try to win every game? I'm pretty sure they did.
How does a team of professionals try to lose?
You want to be mad at someone, be mad at KP for being too dominant at the beginning of the season.
Again, we only won 7 games after he went down.

So this guy will be available at 8 -10? Because that's where the Knicks will be picking.
It takes talent but Fiz is >>>>>>Jefe/Rambis and that's 5 wins right there. Kind of offsets KP's wins. Plus the Knicks don't know how to tank.

He leaves Doncic and Porter off because he can't compare their numbers to the others.
7-10 are Knox, SGA, Sexton and Zhaire Smith.
"One thing you see is that CARMELO is extremely deferential to the scout rankings — more so than other systems that use similar data, such as Pelton’s system or the Stats & Info system."
Kinda makes the whole idea of a statistical comparison useless doesn't it? Every other model has Knox outside the top 10 because his actual production was trash. I'm sure 100% of models with no scout rankings included would have him completely out the lotto. He's not good at basketball which is the #1 thing you want in an NBA player I'd think.

That's a lot of talent to choose from at #36.

No way we get Doncic with a protected pick.
You want talent you gotta give up value.
