Nets are desperate to lose to get a better draft pick. They want to trade their quality players as soon as possible.

Suns fans trying their hardest, they’re going to push Matt Ishba to go on the full court press for Jimmy to appease the fans.

Suns fans get Twix his guy

This deal would put the Heat in repeater tax hell

We’re probably doing nothing and just wasting our time talking about it in here every day  that’s been the case more times than not with this build

Apparently they’re not willing to send out young guys and don’t want to make a big splash, well see if that changes.

Only difference is, they have a FO that isn’t scared to make moves so at least they have some recent acquisition to fuel it, we’re still living off fumes of the big 3 era

They have lack of desirable assets. Same issue we’ve had for many years. The assets they have in Booker and Durant won’t be dealt for Butler. Beal ain’t it

Beal hasn't been that healthy this season too.

As sh*t as Tyler Herro played last night, he's still having an extraordinary year thus far and is still averaging 24, 5, and 5 on 63% TS and a ORTG / DRTG rating of 118 / 114.

What's odd about this video is Shams says near the end about the Butler situation is that we will see this play out in the coming weeks, as if something is going to happen.

I have no doubt the Suns are interested in Jimmy. I also have little doubt they'd spend to keep him. I also have little doubt he'd be fine playing there or with Golden State.

The Suns' issue though is they have zero trade chips of interest for us. If they want to sign Jimmy, they better figure out a way to open up cap space via a trade for expirings, but that comes at a cost of depth.

They aren't trading Booker. They aren't trading KD. There's literally nothing else they can give of real interest or value that would warrant us swapping Jimmy out for.

Coming weeks could be Christmas/New Year, or it could be the trade deadline. It's an open statement.

That's nearly 2 months away, normally someone reporting would say we'll know more near the trade deadline (like everyone else has been saying), not in the coming weeks.

I could see Miami telling whoever is interested in Butler what they'd be interested in return and those teams having to do the legwork to pull in 3rd/4th teams to get those assets to Miami.

For Miami to be interested, they must have already talked to Herro about this to see if there "might" be an issue.

Damn, was just thinking about those post-Wade and Bosh Miami teams where we longed for a true star. Felt like an eternity where we were in the abyss with Dion, JJ, Hassan, Tyler Johnson etc. Finally we get Jimmy and we've had a great 5-6 years; selling him off would mean moving back into a world where we don't have a true star on the team anymore. We saw how hard it was to find him in the first place - it took a perfect storm to get him on our roster to begin with.

Jimmy's jersey will be in the rafters some day, and while his biggest regret will be that a championship eluded him during his time here, he should be proud of the development he's made as a leader and ball player since he's been in Miami.

Hope it isn't the end, but writing is on the wall. Contenders will be knocking and it'll be very interesting to see how competitive the bidding gets as we get closer to the deadline - Jimmy is a HoF player and a legitimate postseason beast, any team with serious championship aspirations should be doing their due diligence.

Jimmy keeps on fanning the flames between his camp and his subliminal messages. Wearing the GSW colored shoes like cmon man really? But like i said Pat kinda invited this element to come into play with not offering extension and talking about playing in more games. The front office has to pick a direction here cause eventually this trolling doesn’t become funny anymore and starts rubbing people the wrong way.

I think its pretty clear Shams reporting is legitimate. It also means it has to be coming from either Miami or Jimmy’s camp—and I lean Jimmy’s camp.

Its clear they’re trying to strong arm the Heat with the little leverage they have to try and get an extension. Will Jimmy stop being passive-aggressive about it and go full Minnesota on them though???

Yeah, this shtick is not going to sit well with Riley - guarantee that. The shoes is one thing, the hair is another. Jimmy isn't exactly being subtle about it, even if I'm not 100% sure if it's legit or him trolling.

Wade with the "house divided" comments too. Clearly there's angst there that has been brewing, and it's going to come to a head at some stage.

Shams is well and truly doubling down, and he isn't really wrong often at all...
