You can't sub a red card player? Uhm, that's harsh if true.

I don't think anyone in our league had Higuain i don't remember seeing him in anyone's first round lineups.

So hitting the goal post and passing to a teammate this way is nto an assistence? That sucks and not only that Messi assist the Korean on his own goal too, Lionel got robbed fantasy-wise!

Well, all I've got to say is that Anelka sucks. We've been more active than what we showed against Urugay so far, but we've been disastrous on defense, we're lucky it's Mexico we're playing against (and that Lloris is our goal).

Poor Tupik. For the sport it is good that Mexico won. It seemed like Domenech wants to advance with three points and score 0:0. The sad thing is that Ireland would be much more fun to watch.

Heads up Tupik, Blanc could be only better than your current coach and talent is there.

Man those french guys played uninspired during those first two games.

Though, there's still a chance cause i doubt that Uruguay vs. Mexico will be a tie.
So they'll only have to score about four goals against South Africa et voila, France will advance... :roll:

Anyways, tommorrow we'll play Serbia and might be able to make it to the last 16 with a victory.
Though, i can't watch it cause i won't be at home thanks to the game being played at 1:30 p.m. over here in Germany. :evil:

I don't understand the fantasy game, when I add up my first round points I get 65, however on the league standings page it says I have 35 for the first round....

There is a limited amount of free transfers between rounds. One (on later stages more)* is always free, any other is paid by deducting 3 points from your score. That's probably it.

And of course points appears on scoreboard after daily update (i.e. when time gap for substitution opens).

*between group and play off phase there will be unlimited amount of free transfers

mexico gets a nice gift of a goal for the first one, clearly offsides. not complaints about the second goal. french team should be ashamed. all that talent and zero scoring chances. anelka is an enigma. sometimes he looks fantastic, other times he looks completely uninterested.

i'll probably dvr the germany game tomorrow morning rather than waking up early. if i stay home from work again, highly likely, i'll have more than enough time to watch it.

changes for us tomorrow? torres for clark? buddle for findley?

I don't think so to my understanding in the case of offside feet positioning is most relevant. And the striker had one feet surely back enough. His body of course was lening towards the goal so he looked like in offside at first glimpse. It was edgy situation but probably a good call. Perfect timing for sure.

On the other hand that Mexican fouled in the penalty area probably should received a yellow card for his acting talent. Contact was there, sure.

I think I'm going to follow Everton. Soccer friend is an Everton fan, but the other local soccer people he knows root for the Hotspurs, so this way we can plan game viewings together and I have someone to immediately answer my questions as they come to me.

And they have Tim Howard, so I can root for an American.

Everton is a very likea-able team IMO. They're not super rich, they don't buy up tons of expensive players. They bring in young or unproven players and develop them. I hope Donovan goes back there after the WC, although I suspect he'll be a bit out of they're price range by then:)

They've got to do something because they're most likely out if they don't at least get a point out of it.
Though, i expect a pretty tactical match cause Germany could make a huge step to the final 16 with a victory.

I wouldn't say that.
I expect a very tight match and think it could easily end up being a 0-0 or 1-1 draw.
Serbs got good players and would be hard to beat if they're to score first.
